Daily invocations

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ.

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers.

رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ - رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدْتَهُمْ وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ - وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَنْ تَقِ السَّيِّئَاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُ وَذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ.

Our Lord, You encompass all things in Your mercy and knowledge. So forgive those who repent and follow Your path, and preserve them from the punishment of the Blaze. Our Lord, admit them to the Gardens of Eden which You have promised them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their descendants. Indeed, You are the Mighty, the Wise. Preserve them from evil, and whomever You preserve from evil on that Day, You will have shown them mercy. And that is the supreme triumph.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنَاها.

O Allah, grant us Your sustenance.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ، أنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهنَّ، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ، لَكَ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرضِ وَمَن فيهن، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ أنْت نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرْضِ ومَنْ فِيهنَّ، ولكَ الحَمدُ أنْتَ الحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الحَقّ، ولِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ، والجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، والنَّارُ حَقٌّ، ومُحَمَّدٌ حَقٌّ، والسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وبِكَ خاصَمْتُ، وَإلَيْكَ حاكَمْتُ، فاغْفِرْ لي ما قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أعْلَنْتُ، أنْتَ المُقَدِّمُ وأنْتَ المُؤَخِّرُ، لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنتَ.

There is no strength or power except in Allah.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ، سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ.

O Allah, make me among those who repent abundantly and those whom You purify. (

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ.

O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, and grant them peace.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي، وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ.

O Allah, forgive me my sins and open for me the gates of Your mercy.

اللهمّ ربَّ هذه الدعوة التامة، والصلاة القائمة، صلِّ على محمَّد وآته سؤلَه يومَ القيامة.

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the established prayer, send prayers upon Muhammad and grant him his request on the Day of Resurrection.

اللَّهُمَّ آتِنِي أَفْضَلَ مَا تُؤْتِي عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ.

O Allah, grant me the best of what You grant to Your righteous servants.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ العَافِيَةَ.

O Allah, I ask You for preservation (or good health, security, etc.). Glory be to Him, the Most High! (Subḥānahu wa Ta‘ālā) Blessed be Allah, Lord of the worlds! (Tabāraka Llāhu Rabbu l-‘ālamīn) How sublime is the grandeur of our Lord!

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي.

O Allah, forgive me.

اللهمَّ لكَ رَكَعْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، ولَكَ أسْلَمْتُ، خَشَعَ لَكَ سَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي، ومُخِّي وَعَظْمِي وَعَصبِي.

O Allah, it is before You that I have bowed (in prayer), it is in You that I have believed, and it is to You that I have submitted. My hearing, my sight, my marrow, my bones, and my nerves humble themselves before You.

رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ حَمْداً كَثِيراً طَيِّباً مُبارَكاً فِيهِ، مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ، وَمِلْءَ الأرْضِ، وَمِلْءَ ما بَيْنَهُما، وَمِلْءَ ما شِئْتَ مِنْ شئ بَعْدُ، أهْلَ الثَّناءِ والمجد، أحق ما قَالَ العَبْدُ، وكلنا لَكَ عَبْدٌ، لا مانِعَ لِمَا أعطيت، ولا معطي لما مَنَعْتَ، وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجَدّ مِنْكَ الجَدُّ.

O our Lord, to You belongs all praise, abundant, pure, and blessed praise, filling the heavens, filling the earth, filling what lies between them, and filling all that You will thereafter. You are worthy of all glorification and all majesty. You are the One to whom belongs the most truthful speech a servant can utter, and we are all Your servants. No one can withhold what You give, and no one can give what You withhold. And the power of the powerful avails them nothing against You.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ، مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأرْضِ، وَمِلْءَ ما شِئْتَ من شئ بَعْدُ، أهْلَ الثَّناءِ والمجد، أحق ما قالَ العَبْدُ، وكُلُّنا لَكَ عَبْدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ لا مانِعَ لِمَا أعطيت، ولا معطي لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجَدِّ مِنْكَ الجَدُّ.

O our Lord, to You belongs all praise, as much as fills the heavens and the earth, and as much as You will of all things besides. You are worthy of all glorification and all majesty. These are the most just words a servant can utter, and we are all Your servants. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold. The fortune (or effort) of the fortunate man avails him nothing before You.

رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ.

O our Lord, to You all praise, abundant, pure, and blessed praise!

اللهم إني أعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الكَرِيمِ وَبِكَلِماتِكَ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ شَر ما أنْتَ آخِذٌ بِناصِيَتِهِ، اللَّهُمّ أنْتَ تَكْشِفُ المَغْرَمَ والمَأثمَ، اللَّهُمَّ لا يُهْزَمُ جُنْدُكَ وَلا يخلف وعدك، ولا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجَدّ مِنْكَ الجَدُّ، سُبْحانَكَ وَبِحَمْدِكَ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in Your Noble Countenance and in Your perfect Words against the evil of what You seize by its forelock (its destiny). O Allah, it is You Who dispels debts and sins. O Allah, Your army is never defeated, Your promise is never broken, and the fortune of one who enjoys it will avail him nothing before You. Glory and praise be to You.

اللهمَّ بارك لي فيه يا أرحم الراحمين.

O Allah, bless him for me, O You the Most Merciful of the merciful!

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ.

O Allah, forgive him, or have mercy on him, or ease his state, or whatever is similar to that.

اللهم اجعله لنا سلفا، وفرطا، وأجرا.

O Allah, make him (this deceased) for us a forerunner, an advance (in reward), and a recompense.

اللهمّ أوصلْ ثوابَ ما قرأته إلى فلان.

O Allah, convey the reward of what I have read to so-and-so. And Allah knows best.

اللهم صيبا هَنِيئاً.

O Allah, make it a beneficial and blessed rain!

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي نَوَيْتُ الْحَجَّ فَأَعِنِّي عَلَيْهِ وَتَقَبَّلْهُ مِنِّي.

Labbayka Llāhumma labbayk

اللَّهُمَّ الحَجَّ أَرَدْتُ، وَإِلَيْهِ عَمَدْتُ، فَإِنْ يَسَّرْتَهُ لِي فَهُوَ الحَجُّ.

O Allah, I intend to perform the Hajj and am setting out for it. If You make it easy for me, then it will be the Hajj.

اللهم البلد بلدك، والبيت بيتك، جئت أطلب رحمتك، وألزم طاعتك، متبعا لأمرك، راضيا بقدرك، مستسلما لأمرك، أسألك مسألة المضطر إليك، المشفق من عذابك، خائفا لعقوبتك، أن تستقبلني بعفوك، وأن تتجاوز عني برحمتك، وأن تدخلني جنتك.

O Allah, this city is Your city, and this House is Your House. I come seeking Your mercy, committing myself to Your obedience, following Your command, accepting Your decree, and submitting to Your order. I ask You—as one in distress turns to You, fearing Your punishment and dreading Your retribution—to receive me with Your forgiveness, overlook my faults through Your mercy, and admit me into Your Paradise.

اللهم آتنا في الدنيا حسنة، وفي الآخرة حسنة، وقنا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

O Allah, grant us good in this world, good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

اللهم إني أسألك خير المسألة، وخير الدعاء، وخير النجاح، وخير العمل، وخير الثواب، وخير الحياة، وخير الممات، وثبتني، وثقل موازيني، وحقق إيماني، وارفع درجاتي، وتقبل صلاتي، واغفر خطيئتي، وأسألك الدرجات العلى من الجنة. اللهم إني أسألك فواتح الخير، وخواتمه، وجوامعه، وأوله، وآخره، وظاهره، وباطنه، والدرجات العلى من الجنة، آمين. اللهم إني أسألك خير ما آتي، وخير ما أفعل، وخير ما أعمل، وخير ما بطن، وخير ما ظهر، والدرجات العلى من الجنة، آمين. اللهم إني أسألك أن ترفع ذكري، وتضع وزري، وتصلح أمري، وتطهر قلبي، وتحصن فرجي، وتنور لي قلبي، وتغفر لي ذنبي، وأسألك الدرجات العلى من الجنة، آمين. اللهم إني أسألك أن تبارك لي في نفسي، وفي سمعي، وفي بصري، وفي روحي، وفي خَلْقي وخُلُقي وأهلي، وفي محياي وفي مماتي، وفي عملي، وتقبل حسناتي، وأسألك الدرجات العلى من الجنة، آمين.

O Allah, I ask You for the beginnings of good, its ends, its gathered elements, its start and its conclusion, its outward and its inward, as well as the lofty degrees of Paradise.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً، وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

O our Lord! Grant us a goodly portion in this world, and a goodly portion in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

اللهم إنا نجعلك في نحورهم، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ.

O Allah, we place You before their chests (to repel them), and we seek refuge in You from their evil.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كَانَ عَبْدُكَ هَذَا كَاذِبًا، قَامَ رِيَاءً وَسُمْعَةً، فَأَطِلْ عُمْرَهُ، وَأَطِلْ فَقْرَهُ، وَعَرِّضْهُ لِلْفِتَنِ.

I am a tested shaykh; the curse of Saʿd has befallen me.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كَانَتْ كَاذِبَةً فَأَعْمِ بَصَرَهَا وَاقْتُلْهَا فِي أَرْضِهَا.

O Allah, if she lies, then blind her sight and cause her to die on her land.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, a hundred times each day.

اللهم فَقِّهْهُ في الدِّينِ وعلمه التأويل.

O Allah, grant him deep understanding of the religion and teach him the interpretation of the Qur’an.

اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنَا مِنَ النَّارِ.

O Allah, protect us from the Fire.

اللهم إني أعوذ بك مِنَ العَجْزِ، وَالكَسَلِ، وَالجُبْنِ، وَالبُخْلِ، وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ القَبْرِ، اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاها، وَزَكِّها أنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاها، أنْتَ وَلِيُّها وَمَوْلاها، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لا يَخْشَعُ، وَمنْ نَفْسٍ لا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, distress, and the punishment of the grave. O Allah, grant my soul its piety and purify it, for You are the Best of those who purify it. You are its Protector and its Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that is of no benefit, from a heart that does not humble itself, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from an invocation that is not answered.

اللهم إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ البَرَصِ وَالجُنُونِ والجذام وسيئ الأسْقامِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from leprosy, madness, leprosy [disease], and the worst of illnesses.

اللهم إني أعُوذُ بكَ منَ الشِّقاقِ وَالنِّفاقِ وَسُوءِ الأخْلاقِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from discord, hypocrisy, and evil character.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ.

I seek forgiveness from Allah a hundred times a day.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ.

I ask Allah’s forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاهْدِني وَارْزُقْنِي.

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, and grant me provision.

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيَا وَأَمُوتُ. الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ.

“O Allah, I live and I die.” And upon waking, he said, “Praise be to Allah who has given us life after having caused us to die, and to Him is the return.”

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ ضِيقِ الدُّنْيَا وَضِيقِ يَوْمِ القِيَامَةِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the narrowness of this world and the narrowness of the Day of Resurrection.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ أسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذَنْبِي، وأسألُكَ رَحْمَتَكَ، اللَّهُمَّ زِدْنِي عِلْماً ولا تزغ قلبي بعد إذ هديتني، وَهَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إنَّكَ أنت الوهاب.

O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for my sin, I ask You for Your mercy. O Allah, increase me in knowledge and do not let my heart deviate after You have guided me. Grant me, from You, a mercy, for You are the Bestower par excellence.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ منْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْر مَا هُوَ لَهُ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّهِ وَشَرّ ما هُوَ لَه.

O Allah, I ask You for its good and the good it contains, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil it contains.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الحَمْدُ أنْتَ كَسَوْتِنِيهِ، أسألُكَ خَيْرَهُ وَخَيْرَ ما صُنِعَ لَهُ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرّ ما صُنِعَ لَهُ.

O Allah, all praise is Yours for clothing me. I ask You for its good and the good for which it was made, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil for which it was made.

اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أنْ أضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ، أوْ أزِلَّ، أَوْ أُزَلَّ، أَوْ أظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ، أوْ أجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عليَّ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from straying or being led astray, from slipping or causing others to slip.

اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أنْ أضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ، أوْ أزِلَّ، أَوْ أُزَلَّ، أَوْ أظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ، أوْ أجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عليَّ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أسألُكَ خَيْرَ المَوْلِجِ وَخَيْرَ المخرج، بسم الله ولجنا، وبسم اللَّهِ خَرَجْنا، وَعَلى اللَّهِ رَبِّنا تَوَكَّلْنا.

O Allah, I ask You for the good of entering and the good of exiting. In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we exit, and in Allah, our Lord, we place our trust. Then, may he greet his family.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ، أنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهنَّ، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ، لَكَ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرضِ وَمَن فيهن، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ أنْت نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرْضِ ومَنْ فِيهنَّ، ولكَ الحَمدُ أنْتَ الحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الحَقّ، ولِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ، والجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، والنَّارُ حَقٌّ، ومُحَمَّدٌ حَقٌّ، والسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وبِكَ خاصَمْتُ، وَإلَيْكَ حاكَمْتُ، فاغْفِرْ لي ما قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أعْلَنْتُ، أنْتَ المُقَدِّمُ وأنْتَ المُؤَخِّرُ، لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنتَ.

O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise. You are the Supporter of the heavens and the earth and all that they contain. To You belongs all praise, to You belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that they contain. To You belongs all praise, You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and all that they contain.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ، أنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهنَّ، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ، لَكَ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرضِ وَمَن فيهن، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ أنْت نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرْضِ ومَنْ فِيهنَّ، ولكَ الحَمدُ أنْتَ الحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الحَقّ، ولِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ، والجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، والنَّارُ حَقٌّ، ومُحَمَّدٌ حَقٌّ، والسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وبِكَ خاصَمْتُ، وَإلَيْكَ حاكَمْتُ، فاغْفِرْ لي ما قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أعْلَنْتُ، أنْتَ المُقَدِّمُ وأنْتَ المُؤَخِّرُ، لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنتَ.

O Allah, to You I submit, in You I believe, in You I place my trust, to You I repent, by You I strive, and to You I entrust my final reckoning. So forgive me my past and future sins, those I committed in secret and those I committed openly. You are the One who precedes...

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الخُبْثِ وَالخَبَائث.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الرِّجس النَّجِسِ الخَبِيثِ المُخْبِثِ: الشَّيْطانِ الرجِيمِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the foul and corrupt impurity, the accursed devil.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَوَّابِينَ، واجْعَلْني مِنَ المُتَطَهِّرِينَ، سُبْحانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ، أشْهَدُ أنْ لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، أسْتَغْفِرُكَ وأتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ.

O Allah, make me among those who repent and among those who purify themselves.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ، أشْهَدُ أنْ لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، أسْتَغْفِرُكَ وأتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ.

O Allah, by Your praise, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I ask Your forgiveness and repent to You.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ذَنْبِي، وَوَسِّعِ لي فِي داري، وَبارِكْ لي في رِزْقِي.

O Allah, forgive me my sin, expand for me my dwelling, and bless me in my sustenance.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ في قَلْبِي نُوراً، وفي لِسانِي نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ في سَمْعِي نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ في بَصَري نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ خَلْفِي نُوراً، وَمِنْ أمامي نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقي نُوراً وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُوراً، اللَّهُمَّ أعْطِني نُوراً.

O Allah, place in my heart a light, in my tongue a light, in my hearing a light, in my sight a light, place a light behind me, a light before me, a light above me, and a light below me.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ في قَلْبِي نُوراً، وفي لِسانِي نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ في سَمْعِي نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ في بَصَري نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ خَلْفِي نُوراً، وَمِنْ أمامي نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقي نُوراً وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُوراً، اللَّهُمَّ أعْطِني نُوراً.

O Allah, grant me a light.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ. اللَّهُمَّ بِحَقّ السَّائِلِينَ عَلَيْكَ، وَبِحَقّ مَخْرَجِي هَذَا فإني لَمْ أخْرُجْهُ أشَراً وَلاَ بَطراً وَلاَ رِياءً وَلاَ سُمْعَةً، خَرَجْتُ ابْتِغاءَ مَرْضَاتِكَ، وَاتِّقاءَ سَخَطِكَ، أسألُكَ أنْ تُعِيذَني من النار وأن تدخلني الجَنَّة.

O Allah, by the right of those who supplicate to You and by the right of my presence here—for I have not come out of arrogance, nor pride, nor ostentation, nor desire for fame, but to seek Your pleasure and avoid Your wrath—I ask You to protect me.

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ.

O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy. And when he goes out, let him say, "O Allah, I ask You for Your bounty."

اللَّهُمَّ أعِذْنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطانِ الرَّجِيمِ.

O Allah, protect me from the accursed devil.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ.

O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad. And when he goes out, let him say: "In the name of Allah. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad."

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ إِبْلِيسَ وَجُنُودِهِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from Iblis and his legions, for when he utters these words, nothing will harm him.

اللَّهُمَّ ربَّ هذه الدعوة التامة، والصلاة القائمة، آت محمدا الوسيلة والفضيلة، وابعثْه مقاماً محموداً الذي وعدته.

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the prayer that is about to be established, grant Muhammad the wasîla (the highest degree in Paradise) and the fadîla (excellence), and raise him to the praised station You have promised him.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبِّ هَذهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ والصلاة القائمة، آت محمدا الوسيلة والفَضِيلَةَ، وابْعَثْهُ مَقاماً محموداً الذي وَعَدْتَهُ.

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the prayer that is about to be established, grant Muhammad the wasîla and the fadîla, and raise him to the praised station You have promised him. Thus, my intercession will be permitted for him on the Day of Resurrection. (

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنا مُفْلِحِين.

O Allah, make us among the triumphant.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبّ جِبْرِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ وَمِيكائِيلَ ومُحَمَّدٍ النَّبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ.

O Allah, Lord of Jibrîl, Isrâfîl, Mîkâ’îl, and the Prophet Muḥammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him), I seek refuge in You from the Fire, three times.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ.

I seek forgiveness from Allah, besides whom there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. I repent to Him three times. May Allah the Most High forgive his sins, even if they were like the foam of the sea.

وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا، وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ، وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ. اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ المَلكُ، لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ أَنْتَ رَبِّي وأنا عَبْدُكَ، ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي واعْتَرَفْتُ بِذَنْبِي فاغْفِرْ لي ذُنُوبِي جميعا لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، وَاهْدِني لأحْسَنِ الأخْلاقِ، لا يَهْدِي لأحْسَنها إلاَّ أَنْتَ، وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي سَيِّئَها، لا يَصْرِفُ سَيِّئَها إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ، والخَيْرُ كُلُّهُ في يَدَيْكَ، وَالشَّرُّ لَيْسَ إِلَيْكَ، أنا بِكَ وَإِلَيْكَ، تَبارَكْتَ وَتعالَيْتَ، أسْتَغْفِرُكَ وأتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ.

O Allah, You are the Sovereign. There is no god but You. You are my Lord, and I am Your servant. I have wronged myself and acknowledged my sin. So forgive me all my sins, for none forgives sins except You. Guide me to the best of characters.

اللَّهُمَّ باعِد بَيْني وبَيْنَ خَطايايَ كما بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ المَشْرِقِ وَالمَغْرِبِ، اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّنِي مِنْ خَطايايَ كما يُنَقّى الثَّوْبُ الأبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِي مِنْ خَطايايَ بالثَّلْجِ وَالمَاءِ وَالبَرَدِ.

O Allah, distance between me and my sins as You have distanced the East from the West. O Allah…

اللَّهُمَّ باعِد بَيْني وبَيْنَ خَطايايَ كما بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ المَشْرِقِ وَالمَغْرِبِ، اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّنِي مِنْ خَطايايَ كما يُنَقّى الثَّوْبُ الأبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِي مِنْ خَطايايَ بالثَّلْجِ وَالمَاءِ وَالبَرَدِ.

O Allah, purify me from my sins with snow, water, and hail.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ، وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعالى جَدُّكَ، وَلاَ إلهَ غَيْرُكَ.

O Allah, to You belongs all praise. Blessed is Your Name, exalted is Your Majesty, and there is no god but You.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ، تَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وتعالى جدك، ولا إله غيرك.

O Allah, to You belongs all praise. Blessed is Your Name, exalted is Your Majesty, and there is no god but You.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنا وبِحَمْدِكَ، اللهم اغفر لي.

O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise. O Allah, forgive me.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنا وبِحَمْدِكَ، اللهم اغفر لي.

Our Lord, to You belongs all praise. O Allah, forgive me.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ، مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأرْضِ، وَمِلْءَ ما شِئْتَ من شئ بَعْدُ، أهْلَ الثَّناءِ والمجد، أحق ما قالَ العَبْدُ، وكُلُّنا لَكَ عَبْدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ لا مانِعَ لِمَا أعطيت، ولا معطي لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجَدِّ مِنْكَ الجَدُّ.

O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise, as much as fills the heavens and the earth, and as much as You will of all things besides. You are worthy of praise and glory. What the servant says is most true, and we are all Your servants. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold.

سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ. رَبَّنا لكَ الحَمْدُ، مِلْءَ السَّمَواتِ وَمِلْءَ الأرْضِ وَمِلْءَ ما شئت من شئ بَعْدُ.

Our Lord, to You belongs all praise, as much as fills the heavens and the earth, and as much as You will of all things besides.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، ولَكَ أسْلَمْتُ، سَجَدَ وَجْهِي للَّذي خَلَقَهُ وَصَوَّرَهُ، وَشَقّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ، تبارَكَ اللَّهُ أحْسَنُ الخالِقين.

O Allah, to You I prostrate, in You I believe, and to You I submit. My face prostrates before He who created it, gave it its form, and granted it hearing and sight. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators.

اللَّهُمَّ أعُوذُ بِرضَاكَ مِنْ سَخطِكَ، وبِمُعافاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لا أُحْصِي ثَناءً عَلَيْكَ، أنْتَ كمَا أثْنَيْتَ على نَفْسِكَ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure against Your wrath, in Your forgiveness against Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You against myself. I could never praise You as You have praised Yourself.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ، وأوّلَهُ وآخِرَهُ، وَعَلانِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّه.

O Allah, forgive me all my sins, small and great, first and last, open and hidden.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْها لي عِنْدَكَ ذُخْراً، وأعْظِمْ لي بِهَا أجْراً، وَضَعْ عَنِّي بِها وِزْراً، وَتَقَبَّلْها مِنِّي كما تَقَبَّلْتَها مِنْ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ.

O Allah, make it for me a treasure with You, increase for me its reward, and lighten by it my burden.

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِني فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ، وعَافِني فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ، وَتَوَلّني فِيمَن تَوَلَّيْتَ، وبَارِكْ لِي فِيما أَعْطَيْتَ، وَقِني شَرَّ ما قَضَيْتَ، فإنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ، وَإِنَّهُ لا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ، تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنا وَتَعالَيْتَ.

O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, and grant me sound health.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلّ على مُحَمَّدٍ، وعلى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّم.

O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, and grant him peace.

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَلاَ نَكْفُرُكَ، وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَخْلَعُ مَنْ يَفْجُرُكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إيَّاكَ نَعْبُد، ولَكَ نُصَلِّي وَنَسْجُد، وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعَى وَنحْفِدُ، نَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخْشَى عَذَابَكَ، إنَّ عَذَابَكَ الجِدَّ بالكُفَّارِ مُلْحِقٌ. اللَّهُمَّ عَذّبِ الكَفَرَةَ الَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ، ويُكَذِّبُونَ رُسُلَكَ، وَيُقاتِلُونَ أوْلِيَاءَكَ. اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ للْمُؤْمِنِينَ والمؤمنات والمسلمين والمُسْلِماتِ، وأصْلِح ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ، وأَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ، وَاجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِهِم الإِيمَانَ وَالحِكْمَةَ، وَثَبِّتْهُمْ على مِلَّةِ رسولِك صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَأَوْزِعْهُمْ أنْ يُوفُوا بِعَهْدِكَ الَّذي عاهَدْتَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ، وَانْصُرْهُمْ على عَدُّوَكَ وَعَدُوِّهِمْ إِلهَ الحَقّ وَاجْعَلْنا منهم.

O Allah, we ask You for help and Your forgiveness. We do not deny You; we believe in You and disavow those who disobey You. O Allah, it is You alone we worship, for You we pray and prostrate, to You we hasten and strive, we hope for Your mercy.

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَلاَ نَكْفُرُكَ، وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَخْلَعُ مَنْ يَفْجُرُكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إيَّاكَ نَعْبُد، ولَكَ نُصَلِّي وَنَسْجُد، وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعَى وَنحْفِدُ، نَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخْشَى عَذَابَكَ، إنَّ عَذَابَكَ الجِدَّ بالكُفَّارِ مُلْحِقٌ. اللَّهُمَّ عَذّبِ الكَفَرَةَ الَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ، ويُكَذِّبُونَ رُسُلَكَ، وَيُقاتِلُونَ أوْلِيَاءَكَ. اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ للْمُؤْمِنِينَ والمؤمنات والمسلمين والمُسْلِماتِ، وأصْلِح ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ، وأَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ، وَاجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِهِم الإِيمَانَ وَالحِكْمَةَ، وَثَبِّتْهُمْ على مِلَّةِ رسولِك صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَأَوْزِعْهُمْ أنْ يُوفُوا بِعَهْدِكَ الَّذي عاهَدْتَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ، وَانْصُرْهُمْ على عَدُّوَكَ وَعَدُوِّهِمْ إِلهَ الحَقّ وَاجْعَلْنا منهم.

O Allah, punish the disbelievers who turn others away from Your path, who deny Your messengers, and who fight against Your allies.

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَلاَ نَكْفُرُكَ، وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَخْلَعُ مَنْ يَفْجُرُكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إيَّاكَ نَعْبُد، ولَكَ نُصَلِّي وَنَسْجُد، وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعَى وَنحْفِدُ، نَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخْشَى عَذَابَكَ، إنَّ عَذَابَكَ الجِدَّ بالكُفَّارِ مُلْحِقٌ. اللَّهُمَّ عَذّبِ الكَفَرَةَ الَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ، ويُكَذِّبُونَ رُسُلَكَ، وَيُقاتِلُونَ أوْلِيَاءَكَ. اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ للْمُؤْمِنِينَ والمؤمنات والمسلمين والمُسْلِماتِ، وأصْلِح ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ، وأَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ، وَاجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِهِم الإِيمَانَ وَالحِكْمَةَ، وَثَبِّتْهُمْ على مِلَّةِ رسولِك صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَأَوْزِعْهُمْ أنْ يُوفُوا بِعَهْدِكَ الَّذي عاهَدْتَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ، وَانْصُرْهُمْ على عَدُّوَكَ وَعَدُوِّهِمْ إِلهَ الحَقّ وَاجْعَلْنا منهم.

O Allah, forgive the believing men and women, the Muslim men and women. Reform their relations, unite their hearts, place in their hearts faith and wisdom, and strengthen them upon the religion of Your Messenger (peace and blessings upon him).

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ، وَأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ المَسيحِ الدَّجَّال، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ المَحْيا والمَماتِ، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ من المأثمِ والمَغْرَمِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, from the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal), from the trials of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and from debt.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ما قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، وَمَا أسْرَفْتُ، وَمَا أنْتَ أعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، أنْتَ المُقَدِّمُ وأنْتَ المُؤَخِّرُ، لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ.

O Allah, forgive me for what I have done in advance and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have revealed, what I have exaggerated and what You know better than I. You are the One who advances and the One who delays; there is no god but You.

اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْماً كَثِيراً، وَلا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، فاغْفِرْ لي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْني إنَّكَ أنْتَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ.

O Allah, I have wronged my soul greatly. None forgives sins except You. Forgive me with a forgiveness from You and have mercy on me, for You are the Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ السَّلامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلامُ، تَبارَكْتَ يا ذَا الجَلالِ وَالإِكْرامِ.

O Allah, You are the Peace, and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Generosity.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. اللَّهُمَّ لا مانِعَ لِمَا أعْطَيْتَ، وَلاَ معطي لما مَنَعْتَ، وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذا الجد مِنْكَ الجَدُّ.

O Allah, none can withhold what You have given, and none can give what You have withheld. Wealth does not benefit its possessor in Your sight.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الجُبْنِ، وَأعُوذُ بِكَ أنْ أُرَدَّ إلى أَرْذَلِ العمُرِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فتْنَةِ الدُّنْيا وأعُوذُ بِكَ منْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from cowardice, I seek refuge in You from returning to a wretched old age, I seek refuge in You from the temptations of this world, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave.

اللَّهُمَّ أعِنِّي على ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبادَتِكَ.

O Allah, help me to mention You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ. اللَّهُمَّ أذْهِبْ عَنِّي الهَمَّ والحزنَ.

O Allah, distance from me worry and sorrow.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ذُنُوبي وَخَطايايَ كُلَّها، اللَّهُمَّ انْعِشْنِي واجْبُرْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي لِصَالِح الأعْمالِ وَالأخْلاقِ، إنَّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي لِصَالِحها وَلاَ يَصْرِفُ سَيِّئَها إِلاَّ أَنْتَ.

O Allah, forgive me all my sins and my faults. O Allah, give me life, support me, guide me to good deeds and good character, for none guides to their good nor averts their evil except You.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ عُمُرِي آخِرَهُ، وَخَيْرَ عَمَلِي خَواتِمَهُ، وَاجْعَلْ خَيْرَ أَيَّامي يَوْمَ ألْقاكَ.

O Allah, make the best part of my life its end, make the best of my deeds their conclusions, and make the best of my days the day I meet You.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الكُفْرِ وَالفَقْرِ وَعَذَابِ القَبْرِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief, poverty, and the punishment of the grave.

اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ.

O Allah, protect me from the Fire seven times. If you say this and then die during your night, protection against it is recorded for you. And if you pray Fajr, say the same, for if you die during your day, it is recorded...

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ عِلْماً نافِعاً، وعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً، وَرِزْقاً طَيِّباً.

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, accepted deeds, and lawful sustenance.

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أُحاوِلُ، وَبِكَ أُصَاوِلُ، وَبِكَ أُقاتِلُ.

O Allah, it is by You that I begin, by You that I strive, and by You that I struggle.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You have created me, and I am Your servant. I am faithful to my covenant with You and to Your promise as much as I am able. اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أصْبَحْنا وَبِكَ أمْسَيْنا، وَبِكَ نَحْيا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ.

O Allah, by You we enter the morning, by You we enter the evening, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the resurrection. (And when he enters the evening, he says: "O Allah, by You we enter the evening, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.")

سَمَّعَ سَامِعٌ بِحَمْدِ اللَّهِ وَحُسْنِ بَلَائِهِ عَلَيْنَا، رَبَّنَا صَاحِبْنَا، وَأَفْضِلْ عَلَيْنَا، عَائِذًا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ.

O our Lord, accompany us, grant us Your favor, as we seek refuge in Allah from the Fire.

اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ، عَالِمَ الغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ.

O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord and Master of all things, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, from the evil of Satan and his associates. Say this in the morning and in the evening.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ، وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ، أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ.

O Allah, this morning I take You as a witness, along with the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels, and all of Your creation, that You are Allah—there is no god but You—and that Muhammad is Your servant and Your Messenger.

اللَّهُمَّ ما أصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، لَكَ الحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ.

O Allah, all grace that reaches me this morning comes from You alone, without associate. To You be praise and gratitude. Whoever says this in the morning has fulfilled his duty of gratitude for the day, and whoever says it in the evening has fulfilled it for the night.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ العافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا والآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ العَفْوَ وَالعَافِيَةَ في دِيني وَدُنْيَايَ وأهْلِي ومَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي وآمِنْ رَوْعاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْن يَدَيَّ ومِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمالِي، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وأعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أنْ أُغْتالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي.

O Allah, I ask You for security in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and security in my religion, my life in this world, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, cover my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me...

اللهم إني أعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الكَرِيمِ وَبِكَلِماتِكَ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ شَر ما أنْتَ آخِذٌ بِناصِيَتِهِ، اللَّهُمّ أنْتَ تَكْشِفُ المَغْرَمَ والمَأثمَ، اللَّهُمَّ لا يُهْزَمُ جُنْدُكَ وَلا يخلف وعدك، ولا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجَدّ مِنْكَ الجَدُّ، سُبْحانَكَ وَبِحَمْدِكَ.

O Allah, Your army is never defeated, Your promise never fails, and fortune does not benefit one who enjoys it in defiance of You. Glory to You, and to You be praise.

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ. اللَّهُمَّ أسألُكَ خَيْرَ هَذَا اليَوْمِ فَتْحَهُ وَنَصْرَهُ وَنُورَهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ وَهُدَاهُ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَر ما فِيهِ وَشَرِّ ما بَعْدَهُ.

O Allah, I ask You for the good of this day: its opening, its victory, its light, its blessing, and its guidance. I seek refuge in You from the evil it contains and the evil that follows it. Say this in the morning, and in the evening, say the same.

اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الكُفْرِ وَالفَقْرِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

O Allah, preserve my body. O Allah, preserve my hearing. O Allah, preserve my sight. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. There is no god but You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الهَمّ والحُزن وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ العَجْزِ والكَسَلِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الجُبْنِ والبُخلِ، وأعوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرّجالِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the domination of men.

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْكِبْرِيَاءُ وَالْعَظَمَةُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ وَاللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَمَا سَكَنَ فِيهِمَا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى. اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ أَوَّلَ هَذَا النَّهارِ صَلاحاً، وَأَوْسَطَهُ نَجاحاً، وآخِرَهُ فَلاحاً، يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

O Allah, make the beginning of this day a reformation, its middle a success, and its end a salvation, O Most Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ منْ فَجْأةِ الخَيْرِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فَجأةِ الشَّرّ.

O Allah, I ask You for the good that comes suddenly, and I seek refuge in You from the evil that comes suddenly.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ عِلْماً نافعاً، وَرِزْقاً طَيِّباً، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً.

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, lawful sustenance, and accepted deeds.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أَصْبَحْتُ منْكَ في نِعْمَةٍ وَعافِيَةٍ وَسَتْرٍ، فأتِمَّ نِعْمَتَكَ عَليَّ وَعَافِيَتَكَ وَسَتْرَكَ فِي الدُّنْيا والآخِرَةِ.

O Allah, this morning I am under Your grace, Your protection, and Your covering. Perfect Your grace, Your protection, and Your covering over me in this world and the Hereafter. (To be said three times in the morning and evening.)

اللَّهُمَّ إِني قَدْ وَهَبْتُ نَفْسِي وَعِرْضِي لَكَ.

O Allah, I have offered my soul and my honor to You. Let not he who insults me be insulted, let not he who wrongs me be wronged, and let not he who strikes me be struck.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَأَنْتَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ كَانَ وَمَا لَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ، أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا. اللَّهُمَّ إِني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّ نَفْسِي، وَمِنْ شَرّ كُلّ دَابَّةٍ أنْتَ آخِذٌ بِناصِيَتها، إنَّ رَبِّي على صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of every creature whose forelock You hold. Indeed, my Lord is on a straight path.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ.

I seek forgiveness from Allah. There is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. I repent to Him. (To be said three times; Allah will efface sins, even if they are like the foam of the sea.)

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَلَّلَنَا الْيَوْمَ عَافِيَتَهُ، وَجَاءَ بِالشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَطْلَعِهَا. اللَّهُمَّ أصْبَحْتُ أشْهَدُ لَكَ بِما شَهِدْتَ بِهِ لِنَفْسِكَ، وَشَهِدَتْ بِهِ مَلائِكَتُكَ وحَمَلَةُ عَرْشِكَ وَجَمِيعُ خَلْقِكَ إنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ القائِمُ بالقِسْطِ، لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ، اكْتُبْ شَهادَتي بَعْدَ شَهادَةِ مَلائِكَتِكَ وأُولِي العِلْمِ، اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ السَّلامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلامُ وَإِلَيْكَ السَّلامُ، أسألُكَ يا ذَا الجَلالِ والإِكْرَامِ أنْ تَسْتَجِيبَ لَنا دَعْوَتَنَا، وأنْ تُعْطِيَنَا رَغْبَتَنا، وأنْ تُغْنِينَا عَمَّنْ أغْنَيْتَهُ عَنَّا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ أصْلحْ لي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أمْرِي، وأصْلِحْ لي دنياي التي فِيها مَعِيشَتِي، وأصْلِحْ لي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي إلَيْها مُنْقَلَبِي.

O Allah, this morning I bear witness to You as You have borne witness to Yourself, as have Your angels, the bearers of Your Throne, and all Your creatures: You are Allah, there is no god but You, the Self-Sufficient, the Establisher of Justice. There is no god but You.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَلَّلَنَا الْيَوْمَ عَافِيَتَهُ، وَجَاءَ بِالشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَطْلَعِهَا. اللَّهُمَّ أصْبَحْتُ أشْهَدُ لَكَ بِما شَهِدْتَ بِهِ لِنَفْسِكَ، وَشَهِدَتْ بِهِ مَلائِكَتُكَ وحَمَلَةُ عَرْشِكَ وَجَمِيعُ خَلْقِكَ إنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ القائِمُ بالقِسْطِ، لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ، اكْتُبْ شَهادَتي بَعْدَ شَهادَةِ مَلائِكَتِكَ وأُولِي العِلْمِ، اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ السَّلامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلامُ وَإِلَيْكَ السَّلامُ، أسألُكَ يا ذَا الجَلالِ والإِكْرَامِ أنْ تَسْتَجِيبَ لَنا دَعْوَتَنَا، وأنْ تُعْطِيَنَا رَغْبَتَنا، وأنْ تُغْنِينَا عَمَّنْ أغْنَيْتَهُ عَنَّا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ أصْلحْ لي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أمْرِي، وأصْلِحْ لي دنياي التي فِيها مَعِيشَتِي، وأصْلِحْ لي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي إلَيْها مُنْقَلَبِي.

O Allah, You are the Peace, from You comes peace and to You returns peace. I ask You, O Owner of Majesty and Generosity, to answer our supplication, grant us what we desire, and suffice us against those upon whom You have bestowed favor by leaving us behind.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَلَّلَنَا الْيَوْمَ عَافِيَتَهُ، وَجَاءَ بِالشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَطْلَعِهَا. اللَّهُمَّ أصْبَحْتُ أشْهَدُ لَكَ بِما شَهِدْتَ بِهِ لِنَفْسِكَ، وَشَهِدَتْ بِهِ مَلائِكَتُكَ وحَمَلَةُ عَرْشِكَ وَجَمِيعُ خَلْقِكَ إنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ القائِمُ بالقِسْطِ، لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ، اكْتُبْ شَهادَتي بَعْدَ شَهادَةِ مَلائِكَتِكَ وأُولِي العِلْمِ، اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ السَّلامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلامُ وَإِلَيْكَ السَّلامُ، أسألُكَ يا ذَا الجَلالِ والإِكْرَامِ أنْ تَسْتَجِيبَ لَنا دَعْوَتَنَا، وأنْ تُعْطِيَنَا رَغْبَتَنا، وأنْ تُغْنِينَا عَمَّنْ أغْنَيْتَهُ عَنَّا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ أصْلحْ لي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أمْرِي، وأصْلِحْ لي دنياي التي فِيها مَعِيشَتِي، وأصْلِحْ لي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي إلَيْها مُنْقَلَبِي.

O Allah, improve my religion, which is the safeguard of my affairs, improve my life in this world where my sustenance lies, and improve my life to come, to which I shall return.

اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا إقْبالُ لَيْلِكَ وَإِدْبَارُ نَهارِكَ وأصْوَاتُ دُعاتِكَ فاغْفِرْ لي.

O Allah, here comes Your night and departs Your day, and the voices of Your servants who call upon You—so forgive me.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وأعُوذُ بِمُعافاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لا أُحْصِي ثَناءً عليك أنت كما أثنيت على نفسك.

O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure against Your wrath, in Your forgiveness against Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You against myself. I cannot praise You as You have praised Yourself.

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أحْيا وأمُوت.

O Allah, grant me life and grant me death.

اللَّهُمَّ أسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أمْرِي إِلَيْكَ، وَألجأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ، رَغْبَةَ وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ لا ملجأ وَلا منجا مِنْكَ إِلاَّ إِليْكَ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتابِكَ الَّذي أنْزَلْتَ، وَنَبِيِّكَ الَّذي أَرْسَلْتَ.

O Allah, I submit to You, I entrust my affairs to Your hands and I place my reliance in You, out of desire and fear of You. There is no refuge or salvation from You except with You. I believe in Your Book that You revealed and in Your Prophet.

اللَّهُمَّ قِني عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبادَكَ.

O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants. O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants. O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبَّ الأرْضِ وَرَبَّ العَرْشِ العَظِيمِ، رَبَّنا ورب كل شئ، فالِقَ الحَبّ وَالنَّوَى، مُنَزِّل التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنجِيلِ وَالقُرآنِ، أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّ كُلّ ذِي شَرٍّ أنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ، أنْتَ الأوَّلُ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شئ، وأنْتَ الآخِرُ فَلَيْسَ بعدك شئ، وأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فَلَيْسَ فوقك شئ، وأنْتَ الباطِنُ فَلَيْسَ دونك شئ، اقْضِ عَنَّا الدَّيْنَ، وأغْنِنا مِنَ الفَقْرِ.

O Allah, Lord of the heavens and the Earth, Lord of the Mighty Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, You Who cause the seed and the kernel to sprout, You Who revealed the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran, I seek refuge in You from the evil of every harmful creature whose forelock You hold.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الكَرِيمِ وَكَلِماتِكَ التَّامَّة مِنْ شر ما أنت آخذ بناصيته، اللَّهُمّ أنْتَ تَكْشِفُ المَغْرَمَ والمَأثمَ، اللَّهُمَّ لا يُهْزَمُ جُنْدُكَ، وَلا يُخْلَفُ وَعْدُكَ، ولا ينفع ذا الجد مِنْكَ الجَدُّ، سُبْحانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in Your generous Face and in Your perfect words against the evil of what You hold by the forelock. O Allah, You relieve debts and sins. O Allah, Your army is never defeated, Your promise is never broken, and the rich do not benefit...

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي. اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ذَنْبِي، وأخسئ شَيْطانِي، وَفُكَّ رِهانِي، وَاجْعَلْنِي فِي النَّدِيّ الأعْلَى.

O Allah, forgive me my sins, drive away my devil, release my pledge, and place me among the highest assembly.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبَّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، رَبَّنا ورب كل شئ، فالِقَ الحَبّ وَالنَّوَى، مُنَزِّل التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنجِيلِ وَالقُرآنِ، أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّ كُلّ ذِي شَرٍّ أنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ، أنْتَ الأوَّلُ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شئ، وأنْتَ الآخِرُ فَلَيْسَ بعدك شئ، وأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فَلَيْسَ فوقك شئ، وأنْتَ الباطِنُ فَلَيْسَ دونك شئ، اقْضِ عَنَّا الدَّيْنَ، وأغْنِنا مِنَ الفَقْرِ.

Our Lord, Lord of all things, Who causes the seed and the kernel to sprout, Who has revealed the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran, I seek refuge in You from the evil of every harmful creature whose forelock You hold. You are the First, there is nothing before You, and You are the Last...

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَفَانِي وَآوَانِي وَأَطْعَمَنِي وَسَقَانِي، وَالَّذِي مَنَّ عَلَيَّ فَأَفْضَلَ، وَالَّذِي أَعْطَانِي فَأَجْزَلَ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ. اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ كل شئ وَمَلِيكَهُ، وَإِلهَ كُلِّ شئ، أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ.

O Allah, Lord of all things and Sovereign, God of all things, I seek refuge in You from the Fire.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ.

I seek forgiveness from Allah. There is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. I repent to Him. (to be repeated three times) May Allah the Most High forgive his sins, though they be as abundant as the foam of the sea, as numerous as the stars or the grains of sand...

اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ خَلَقْتَ نَفْسِي وأنْتَ تَتَوَفَّاها، لَكَ مَمَاتُها وَمَحْياها، إنْ أحْيَيْتَها فاحْفَظْها، وَإنْ أمَتَّها فاغْفِرْ لَهَا، اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أسألُكَ العافِيَةَ.

O Allah, You have created my soul and You will take it back. To You belong its death and its life. If You let it live, preserve it, and if You cause it to die, forgive it. O Allah, I ask You for good health.

اللَّهُمَّ فاطِرَ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرض، عالم الغيب وَالشَّهَادَةِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شئ ومليكه، أشْهَدُ أنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ أعوذ بك من شر نفسي وَشَرّ الشَّيْطانِ وَشِرْكِهِ.

O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord and Master of all things, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, from the evil of Satan and his polytheism.

اللَّهُمَّ اخْتِمْ بِخَيْرٍ.

O Allah, grant me a good end. Satan says, "Grant him a bad end." But if he mentions Allah the Most High and then falls asleep, an angel watches over him.

اللَّهُمَّ باسْمِكَ رَبي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي فاغْفِرْ لي ذَنْبِي.

O Allah, by Your Name, my Lord, I have laid down my side (to sleep), forgive me my sin.

اللَّهُمَّ أمْتِعْنِي بِسَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي، وَاجْعَلْهُما الوَارِثَ مِنِّي، وَانْصُرْنِي على عَدُوِّي وَأرِنِي ثَأْرِي، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَمِنَ الجُوعِ فإنَّهُ بِئْسَ الضَّجِيعُ.

O Allah, make me benefit from my hearing and my sight, make them my heirs. Grant me victory over my enemy and show me my vengeance. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and from hunger, for they are evil companions.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أسألُكَ رُؤْيا صَالِحَةً صَادِقَة غَيْرَ كاذِبَةً، نافِعَةً غَيْرَ ضَارَّةٍ.

O Allah, I ask You for a righteous, true, unfalse, beneficial dream, not harmful.

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي، وَبِكَ أرْفَعُهُ، إِنْ أمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فارْحَمْها، وَإِنْ رَدَدْتَها فاحْفَظْها بِما تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبادَكَ الصَّالِحين.

O Allah, I have laid down my side [to sleep], and it is by You that I rise. If You take my soul, have mercy on it, and if You return it, preserve it as You preserve Your righteous servants.

اللَّهُمَّ غَارَتِ النُّجُومُ، وَهَدَأَتِ العُيُونُ، وَأَنْتَ حَيٌّ قَيُّومٌ، لَا تَأْخُذُكَ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ، يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، أَهْدِئْ لَيْلِي وَأَنِمْ عَيْنِي.

O Allah, the stars have withdrawn, the eyes have settled, and You are the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting by Whom all subsist—neither slumber nor sleep overtakes You. O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, grant me peaceful rest in this night and let my eye sleep. I have said it, and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has removed from me what I was feeling.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَما أظَلَّتْ، وَرَبَّ الأَرضينَ وَمَا أقَلَّتْ، وَرَبَّ الشَّياطِينِ وَمَا أضَلَّتْ، كُنْ لي جارا من شر خَلْقِكَ كُلِّهِمْ جَمِيعاً أنْ يَفْرطَ عليّ أحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ أو أنْ يَبْغي عليَّ، عَزَّ جارُكَ، وَجَلَّ ثَناؤُكَ، وَلا إِلهَ غَيْرُكَ، وَلا إِلهَ إلا أنت.

O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all that they shade, Lord of the earths and all that they bear, Lord of the jinn and those they lead astray, be my protector against the evil of all Your creatures, so that none of them may harm me or overcome me.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ العَظِيمِ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ، وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الغُيُوبِ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الأَمْرَ خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي، فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي، ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ. وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الأَمْرَ شَرٌّ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي، فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ، وَاقْدُرْ لِيَ الخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ، ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ.

O Allah, I ask You to choose well for me through Your knowledge, and I ask You to grant me the ability through Your power. I ask You from Your immense grace, for You have the power and I do not, You know and I do not know, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter...

اللَّهُمَّ خِرْ لي وَاخْتَرْ لي.

O Allah, choose for me and make the best choice for me.

اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أرْجُو فَلا تَكِلْنِي إلى نَفْسي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ، وأصْلِحْ لي شَأنِي كُلَّهُ، لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ.

O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for; do not entrust me to myself, not even for the blink of an eye, and improve all my affairs. There is no god but You.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، فِي قَبْضَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ نُورَ صَدْرِي، وَرَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي.

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand, Your decree applies to me, and Your judgment is just concerning me. I ask You by every name that belongs to You—by which You have named Yourself or revealed...

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ. أَلْعَنُكَ بِلَعْنَةِ اللَّهِ.

I seek refuge with Allah from you.

اللَّهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إِلاَّ ما جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وأنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الحَزْنَ إذَا شئت سهلا.

O Allah, nothing is easy unless You make it easy, and You make hardship easy when You will.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ عَلَى نَفْسِي وَمَالِي وَدِينِي. اللَّهُمَّ رضّنِي بِقَضائِك، وباركْ لي فِيما قُدّرَ لي حتَّى لا أُحِبَّ تَعْجِيلَ ما أخَّرْتَ ولا تأخيرَ ما عَجَّلْتَ.

O Allah, make me content with Your decree, bless me in what You have destined for me, so that I neither love to hasten what You have delayed, nor delay what You have hastened.

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ.

O Allah, preserve me through what is lawful from what is unlawful, and enrich me by Your grace so that I need no one but You.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أذْهِبِ البأسَ، اشْفِ أنْتَ الشَّافِي، لا شِفاءَ إِلاَّ شِفاؤُكَ شِفاءً لا يغادر سقما.

O Allah, Lord of mankind, avert evil, grant healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healing but Yours, a healing that leaves no disease.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، مُذْهِبَ البأسِ، اشْفِ أنْتَ الشَّافِي، لا شافِيَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، شِفاءً لا يُغادِرُ سَقَماً.

O Allah, Lord of mankind, the One who averts harm, grant healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healer but You, a healing that leaves no illness.

اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ سَعْداً، اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ سَعْداً، اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ سَعْداً.

O Allah, grant healing to Sa'd. O Allah, grant healing to Sa'd. O Allah, grant healing to Sa'd.

اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ عَبْدَكَ يَنْكأ لَكَ عَدُوّاً، أوْ يَمْشي لَكَ إلى صَلاةٍ.

O Allah, heal Your servant so that he may harm an enemy for You or walk toward a prayer.

اللَّهُمَّ عَافِهِ.

O Allah, grant him health—or heal him.

اللَّهُمَّ أحْيِني ما كانَتِ الحَياةُ خَيْراً لي، وَتَوَفَّنِي إذَا كَانَتِ الوَفاةُ خَيْراً لِي.

O Allah, grant me life so long as life is good for me, and cause me to die when death is good for me.

اللَّهُمَّ أعِنِّي على غَمَرَاتِ المَوْتِ، وَسَكَرَاتِ المَوْتِ.

O Allah, help me against the agonies of death and the throes of death.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وألحِقْني بالرَّفِيقِ الأعْلَى.

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, and join me with the most exalted company.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلَهُ، وَأَعْقِبْنِي مِنْهُ عُقْبَى حَسَنَةً.

O Allah, forgive me and him, and grant me after him a better outcome. I said it, and Allah then gave me someone better than him: Muhammad (ﷺ).

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ. اللَّهُمَّ أجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتي، وأخْلِفْ لي خَيْراً مِنْها.

O Allah, preserve me in my hardship and replace it with something better. Allah the Most High preserved him in his hardship and granted him in return something better.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ. اللَّهُمَّ عِنْدَكَ أحْتَسِبُ مُصِيبَتِي فأْجُرْنِي فِيها، وأبْدِلْنِي بِها خَيْراً مِنها.

O Allah, I place my trial before You; grant me a reward for it and replace it with something better.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ. اللَّهُمَّ اكْتُبْهُ عِنْدَكَ فِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ، وَاجْعَلْ كِتابَهُ فِي عِلِّيِّينَ، وَاخْلُفْهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ فِي الغابِرِينَ، وَلا تَحْرِمْنا أجْرَهُ وَلاَ تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَهُ.

O Allah, record him among the righteous in Your presence, place his book in the highest ranks, and replace him among his people for those who remain. Do not deprive us of his reward, nor test us after him.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلّ على مُحَمَّدٍ.

O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، وَارْحَمْهُ، وَعافِهِ، وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وأكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بالمَاءِ والثَّلْجِ وَالبَرَدِ، ونَقِّهِ منَ الخَطايا كما نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الأبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، وأبْدِلْهُ دَاراً خَيْراً مِنْ دَارِهِ، وَأهْلاً خَيْراً مِنْ أهْلِهِ، وَزَوْجاً خَيْراً مِنْ زَوْجِهِ، وأدْخِلْهُ الجَنَّةَ، وأعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ أو مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ.

O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, protect him, forgive him, honor his reception, expand his entry, wash him with water, snow, and hail, and purify him of his sins as You have purified the white garment of all impurity.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنا وَمَيِّتِنا، وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرنا، وَذَكَرِنا وأُنْثانا، وشَاهِدِنا وغائِبِنا، اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أحْيَيْتَه مِنَّا فأحْيِهِ على الإِسْلامِ، وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ على الإِيمان، اللَّهُمَّ لا تَحْرِمْنا أجْرَهُ وَلاَ تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَهُ.

O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our young and our old, our men and our women, those who are present and those who are absent. O Allah, grant that those of us whom You keep alive be guided by Islam, and those whom You cause to die be granted death in faith.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنا وَمَيِّتِنا، وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرنا، وَذَكَرِنا وأُنْثانا، وشَاهِدِنا وغائِبِنا، اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أحْيَيْتَه مِنَّا فأحْيِهِ على الإِسْلامِ، وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ على الإِيمان، اللَّهُمَّ لا تَحْرِمْنا أجْرَهُ وَلاَ تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَهُ.

O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not test us after him.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنا وَمَيِّتِنا، وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرنا، وَذَكَرِنا وأُنْثانا، وشَاهِدِنا وغائِبِنا، اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أحْيَيْتَه مِنَّا فأحْيِهِ على الإِسْلامِ، وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ على الإِيمان، اللَّهُمَّ لا تَحْرِمْنا أجْرَهُ وَلاَ تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَهُ.

O Allah, forgive our living and our dead.

اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ رَبُّهَا، وأنْتَ خَلَقْتَها، وأنْتَ هَدَيْتَهَا للإِسْلام، وأنْتَ قَبَضْتَ رُوحَها، وأنْتَ أعْلَمُ بِسِرّها وَعَلانِيَتِهَا، جِئْنا شُفَعاءَ فاغْفِرْ لَهُ.

O Allah, You are its Lord, You created it, You guided it to Islam, and You...

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّ فُلانَ بن فُلانَة فِي ذِمَّتِكَ وحبل جوارك، فَقِهِ فِتْنَةَ القَبْر وَعَذَاب النَّارِ، وأنْتَ أهْلُ الوَفاءِ وَالحَمْدِ فاغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ إنَّكَ أنْتَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ.

O Allah, So-and-so son of So-and-so is under Your protection and Your covenant of security. Protect him from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the Fire. You are worthy of loyalty and praise; forgive him and have mercy on him, for You are the Forgiver, the Most Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا عَبْدُكَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، خَرَجَ مِنْ رَوْحِ الدُّنْيا وسعتها، ومحبوبه وأحبائه فيها، إلى ظُلْمَةِ القَبْرِ ومَا هُوَ لاقيهِ، كانَ يَشْهَدُ أنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، وأنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ، وأنْتَ أعْلَمُ بِهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إنَّهُ نَزَلَ بِكَ وأنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْزُولٍ به، وأصْبَحَ فَقيراً إلى رَحْمَتِكَ، وأنْتَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِهِ، وَقَدْ جِئْنَاكَ رَاغِبِينَ إليك، شُفَعَاءَ لَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ إنْ كَانَ مُحْسِناً فَزِدْ في إِحْسَانِهِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مُسِيئاً فَتَجاوَزْ عنه، وآته بِرَحْمَتِكَ رِضَاكَ، وَقِهِ فِتْنَةَ القَبْرِ وَعَذَابَهُ، وَافْسحْ لَهُ في قَبْرِهِ، وَجافِ الأرْضَ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ، وَلَقِّهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الأمْنَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ حتَّى تَبْعَثَهُ إلى جَنَّتِكَ يا أرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

O Allah, here is Your servant, son of Your servant, who has left behind the comfort of this world, its expanse, its beloved ones, and those he loved, for the darkness of the grave and what he will face there. He bore witness that there is no god but You and that Muhammad is Your servant and Your Messenger...

اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا عَبْدُكَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، خَرَجَ مِنْ رَوْحِ الدُّنْيا وسعتها، ومحبوبه وأحبائه فيها، إلى ظُلْمَةِ القَبْرِ ومَا هُوَ لاقيهِ، كانَ يَشْهَدُ أنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، وأنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ، وأنْتَ أعْلَمُ بِهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إنَّهُ نَزَلَ بِكَ وأنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْزُولٍ به، وأصْبَحَ فَقيراً إلى رَحْمَتِكَ، وأنْتَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِهِ، وَقَدْ جِئْنَاكَ رَاغِبِينَ إليك، شُفَعَاءَ لَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ إنْ كَانَ مُحْسِناً فَزِدْ في إِحْسَانِهِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مُسِيئاً فَتَجاوَزْ عنه، وآته بِرَحْمَتِكَ رِضَاكَ، وَقِهِ فِتْنَةَ القَبْرِ وَعَذَابَهُ، وَافْسحْ لَهُ في قَبْرِهِ، وَجافِ الأرْضَ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ، وَلَقِّهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الأمْنَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ حتَّى تَبْعَثَهُ إلى جَنَّتِكَ يا أرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

O Allah, he has sought refuge in You, and You are the Best of those to whom one seeks refuge. He has become poor in Your mercy, and You have no need to punish him. We come to You, imploring, interceding for him. O Allah, if he was righteous, increase his good deeds...

اللَّهُمَّ أسْلَمَهُ إلَيْكَ الأشحاء مِنْ أهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ، وَقَرابَتِهِ وَإِخْوَانِهِ، وَفَارَقَ مَنْ كَانَ يُحِبُّ قُرْبَهُ، وَخَرَجَ مِنْ سَعَةِ الدُّنْيا وَالحَياةِ إلى ظُلْمَةِ القَبْرِ وَضِيقِهِ، وَنَزَلَ بِكَ وأنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْزُولٍ بِهِ، إنْ عاقَبْتَهُ فَبِذَنْبٍ، وإنْ عَفَوتَ عَنْهُ فأنْتَ أهْلُ العَفْوِ، أنْتَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِهِ، وَهُوَ فَقِيرٌ إلى رَحْمَتِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اشْكُرْ حَسَنَتَهُ، وَاغْفِرْ سَيِّئَتَهُ، وأعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ، وَاجْمَعْ لَهُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الأمْنَ منْ عَذَابِكَ، واكْفِهِ كل هَوْلٍ دُونَ الجَنَّةِ، اللَّهُمَّ اخْلُفْهُ فِي تَرِكَتِهِ فِي الغابِرِينَ، وَارْفَعْهُ فِي عِلِّيِّينَ، وَعْدْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِكَ يا أرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

O Allah, entrust into Your hands the close ones of his family, his children, his parents, his brothers, those whose nearness he loved, who have left the comfort of this world and life for the darkness and constriction of the grave, and have descended into it.

اللَّهُمَّ أسْلَمَهُ إلَيْكَ الأشحاء مِنْ أهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ، وَقَرابَتِهِ وَإِخْوَانِهِ، وَفَارَقَ مَنْ كَانَ يُحِبُّ قُرْبَهُ، وَخَرَجَ مِنْ سَعَةِ الدُّنْيا وَالحَياةِ إلى ظُلْمَةِ القَبْرِ وَضِيقِهِ، وَنَزَلَ بِكَ وأنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْزُولٍ بِهِ، إنْ عاقَبْتَهُ فَبِذَنْبٍ، وإنْ عَفَوتَ عَنْهُ فأنْتَ أهْلُ العَفْوِ، أنْتَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِهِ، وَهُوَ فَقِيرٌ إلى رَحْمَتِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اشْكُرْ حَسَنَتَهُ، وَاغْفِرْ سَيِّئَتَهُ، وأعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ، وَاجْمَعْ لَهُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الأمْنَ منْ عَذَابِكَ، واكْفِهِ كل هَوْلٍ دُونَ الجَنَّةِ، اللَّهُمَّ اخْلُفْهُ فِي تَرِكَتِهِ فِي الغابِرِينَ، وَارْفَعْهُ فِي عِلِّيِّينَ، وَعْدْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِكَ يا أرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

O Allah, reward his good deeds, forgive his sins, protect him from the punishment of the grave, grant him, by Your mercy, security from Your punishment, spare him all trials before Paradise. O Allah, be his successor for his heirs.

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالإِيمَانِ، وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا، رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ.

O our Lord, forgive us as well as our brothers who preceded us in faith.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لأهْلِ بَقِيعِ الغَرْقَدِ.

O Allah, forgive the inhabitants of Baqi’ al-Gharqad.

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ دَارَ قَوْمٍ مُؤْمِنِينَ، أَنْتُمْ لَنَا فَرَطٌ، وَإِنَّا بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ. اللَّهُمَّ لا تَحْرِمْنا أجْرَهُمْ، وَلا تُضِلَّنا بَعْدَهُمْ.

O Allah, do not deprive us of their reward and do not let us go astray after them.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْني أوْجَهَ مَنْ تَوَجَّهَ إلَيْكَ، وأقْرَبَ مَنْ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيْكَ، وأفْضَلَ مَنْ سألَكَ وَرَغِبَ إِلَيْكَ.

O Allah, make me among the most upright of those who turn to You, the closest of those who draw near to You, and the most deserving of those who seek You and yearn for You.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي أَقْرَبَ مَنْ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيْكَ، وَأَوْجَهَ مَنْ تَوَجَّهَ إِلَيْكَ، وَأَنْجَحَ مَنْ سَأَلَكَ وَرَغِبَ إِلَيْكَ يَا اللَّهُ.

O Allah, make me among the nearest to those who draw near to You, among the most upright of those who turn to You, and among the most fulfilled of those who ask of You and yearn for You, O Allah.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ.

I seek forgiveness from Allah—there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. I repent to Him three times. Allah forgives his sins, even if they were like the foam of the sea.

اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنا غَيْثاً مُغِيثاً هَنِيئاً مَرِيئاً غَدَقاً مُجَلِّلاً سَحّاً عامّاً طَبَقاً دَائِماً، اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الظِّرَابِ وَمَنابِتِ الشَّجَرِ، وَبُطُونِ الأوْدِيَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسْتَغْفِرُكَ إِنَّكَ كُنْتَ غَفّاراً، فأرْسِلِ السَّماءَ عَلَيْنا مِدْرَاراً. اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنا الغَيْثَ وَلا تَجْعَلْنا مِنَ القَانِطِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ أنْبِتْ لَنا الزَّرْعَ، وَأدِرَّ لَنا الضَّرْعَ، وَاسْقِنا مِنْ بَرَكاتِ السَّماءِ، وَأنْبِتْ لَنا مِنْ بَرَكاتِ الأرْضِ، اللَّهُمَّ ارْفَعْ عَنَّا الجَهْدَ وَالجُوعَ وَالعُرْيَ، وَاكْشِفْ عَنَّا مِنَ البَلاءِ ما لا يَكْشِفُهُ غَيْرُكَ.

O Allah, send upon us a beneficial, gentle, abundant, widespread, continuous, and lasting rain. O Allah, upon the hills, the places where trees grow, and the beds of the valleys. O Allah, we ask You for forgiveness.

اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنا غَيْثاً مُغِيثاً هَنِيئاً مَرِيئاً غَدَقاً مُجَلِّلاً سَحّاً عامّاً طَبَقاً دَائِماً، اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الظِّرَابِ وَمَنابِتِ الشَّجَرِ، وَبُطُونِ الأوْدِيَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسْتَغْفِرُكَ إِنَّكَ كُنْتَ غَفّاراً، فأرْسِلِ السَّماءَ عَلَيْنا مِدْرَاراً. اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنا الغَيْثَ وَلا تَجْعَلْنا مِنَ القَانِطِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ أنْبِتْ لَنا الزَّرْعَ، وَأدِرَّ لَنا الضَّرْعَ، وَاسْقِنا مِنْ بَرَكاتِ السَّماءِ، وَأنْبِتْ لَنا مِنْ بَرَكاتِ الأرْضِ، اللَّهُمَّ ارْفَعْ عَنَّا الجَهْدَ وَالجُوعَ وَالعُرْيَ، وَاكْشِفْ عَنَّا مِنَ البَلاءِ ما لا يَكْشِفُهُ غَيْرُكَ.

O Allah, send down rain upon us and do not make us despair. O Allah, make the crops grow for us, make the milk flow for us, grant us the blessings of the sky and make the blessings of the earth grow for us. O Allah, relieve us.

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسْتَسْقِي وَنَتَشَفَّعُ إِلَيْكَ بِعَبْدِكَ فُلانٍ.

O Allah, we ask You for rain and we seek Your intercession through Your servant So-and-so.

اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مُغِيثًا مَرِيئًا سَرِيعًا نَافِعًا غَيْرَ ضَارٍّ، عَاجِلًا غَيْرَ آجِلٍ.

O Allah, send upon us a beneficial, gentle, swift, useful, and harmless rain, immediate and not delayed. Then the sky closed over them (covering them with rain).

اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِ عِبادَكَ وَبَهَائِمَكَ، وَانْشُرْ رَحْمَتَكَ، وأحْيِ بَلَدَكَ المَيِّتَ.

O Allah, quench the thirst of Your servants and Your cattle, spread Your mercy and revive Your dead earth.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ. اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ اللَّهُ، لاَ إِلهَ إِلَّا أَنْت الغَنِيُّ وَنَحْنُ الفُقَراءُ، أنْزِلْ عَلَيْنا الغَيْثَ، وَاجْعَلْ ما أنْزَلْتَ لَنا قُوَّةً وَبَلاغاً إلى حِينٍ.

O Allah, You are Allah—there is no god but You, the Rich, and we are the poor. Send down upon us rain, and make what You send down for us a strength and a provision until a fixed term.

اللَّهُمَّ أمَرْتَنا بِدُعائِكَ، وَوَعَدْتَنا إِجابَتَكَ، وَقَدْ دَعَوْناكَ كما أمَرْتَنا، فأجِبْنا كما وَعَدْتَنا، اللَّهُمَّ امْنُنْ عَلَيْنا بِمَغْفِرَةِ ما قارَفْنا، وإِجابَتِكَ في سُقْيانا وَسَعَةِ رِزْقِنا.

O Allah, You have commanded us to invoke You and You have promised to answer us. We have invoked You as You commanded us, so answer us as You promised. O Allah, grant us forgiveness for our sins, answer our request for provision, and expand our sustenance.

اللَّهُمَّ إِني أسألُكَ خَيْرَها وَخَيْرَ ما فِيها، وَخَيْرَ ما أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّها وَشَرّ ما فِيهَا وَشَرّ ما أُرسِلَتْ بِهِ.

O Allah, I ask You for her good, the good she contains, and the good with which she was sent. I seek refuge in You from her evil, the evil she contains, and the evil with which she was sent.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّها.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from its evil. If it rains, one says, "O Allah, make it a beneficial rain."

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسْألُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ هَذِهِ الرّيحِ، وخَيْرِ ما فِيها، وَخَيْرِ ما أُمِرَتْ بِهِ، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّ هَذِهِ الرّيحِ وَشَرّ ما فِيها وَشَرّ ما أُمِرَتْ بِهِ.

O Allah, we ask You for the good of this wind, the good it contains, and the good for which it was ordained. We seek refuge in You from the evil of this wind, the evil it contains, and the evil for which it was ordained.

اللَّهُمَّ لَقْحاً لا عَقِيماً.

O Allah, make her fruitful and not barren.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْها رَحْمَةً وَلا تَجْعَلْها عَذَاباً، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْها رِياحاً وَلا تَجْعَلْها رِيحاً.

O Allah, make it a mercy and not a punishment. O Allah, make it a (beneficial) wind and not a (devastating) wind.

اللَّهُمَّ لا تَقْتُلْنا بِغَضَبِكَ، ولا تُهْلِكْنا بِعَذَابِكَ، وَعافِنا قَبْلَ ذلكَ.

O Allah, do not cause us to perish by Your wrath, nor destroy us by Your punishment, and grant us healing before that.

اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّباً نافِعاً.

O Allah, make it a beneficial rain.

اللَّهُمَّ أغِثْنا، اللَّهُمَّ أغِثْنا.

O Allah, come to our aid, O Allah, come to our aid.

اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلَا عَلَيْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الآكَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ، وَبُطُونِ الأَوْدِيَةِ، وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ.

O Allah, let it fall around us and not upon us, upon the hills, the valley beds, and the places where trees grow.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، تَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ، وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ. سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ.

O Allah, and by Your praise, blessed is Your Name, exalted is Your Majesty, and there is no god but You.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلّ عَلَيْهِمْ.

O Allah, send prayers upon them. Then Abu Awfa came with his charity and said, "O Allah, send prayers upon the family of Abu Awfa."

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ.

O Allah, send prayers upon them. He says this because the prayer formula is specific to Him, and He may address it to whom He wills, unlike us.

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ. اللَّهُمَّ أهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنا بالأمْنِ والإِيْمَانِ والسَّلامَةِ والإِسلامِ، وَالتَّوْفِيقِ لِمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَى، رَبُّنا وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ.

O Allah, make it appear for us with security, faith, preservation, Islam, and success in what You love and are pleased with. Our Lord and Your Lord is Allah.

رَبَّنا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إنَّكَ أنْتَ السَّمِيعُ العليم.

Our Lord, accept from us; You are indeed the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. Allah, exalted is He, has informed of this regarding Ibrâhîm and Ismâ‘îl, peace be upon them, as well as regarding the wife of ‘Imrân.

اللَّهُمَّ بارِكْ لَنا في رَجَبَ وَشَعْبَانَ وَبَلِّغْنا رَمَضَانَ.

O Allah, bless us in the months of Rajab and Sha‘ban, and grant us the month of Ramadan.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ، وَعَلى رِزْقِكَ أفْطَرْتُ.

O Allah, for You I have fasted, and with Your provision I have broken my fast.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْنا، وَعلى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْنا، فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إنَّكَ أنْتَ السَّمِيعُ العَلِيمُ.

O Allah, it is for You that we have fasted, and it is from Your provision that we have broken our fast. Accept it from us; You are indeed the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِي وَسِعَتْ كل شئ أنْ تَغْفِرَ لي.

O Allah, I ask You—by Your mercy that encompasses all things—to forgive me.

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ العَفْوَ فاعْفُ عَنِّي.

O Allah, You are the Forgiver, You love forgiveness, so forgive me.

اللَّهُمَّ زِدْ هَذَا البَيْتَ تَشْريفاً وَتَعْظِيماً وَتَكْرِيماً وَمَهَابَةً، وَزِدْ مِن شَرَّفَهُ وكَرمَهُ مِمَّنْ حَجَّه أو اعْتَمَرَه تَشْرِيفاً وَتَكْرِيماً وَتَعْظِيماً وَبِرّاً.

O Allah, increase the nobility, grandeur, honor, and majesty of this House. And increase in nobility, honor, grandeur, and beneficence those who have honored and magnified it among those who have performed pilgrimage or ‘umrah.

اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ السَّلامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلامُ، حَيِّنا رَبَّنا بالسَّلامِ.

O Allah, You are Peace, and from You comes peace. Make us live, O our Lord, in peace.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ. اللَّهُمَّ إيمَاناً بِكَ وَتَصدِيقاً بِكِتابِكَ، وَوَفاءً بِعَهْدِكَ وَاتِّباعاً لِسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ صلى الله عليه وسلم.

O Allah, grant me faith in You, belief in Your Book, reverence for Your covenant, and adherence to the Sunnah of Your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ حجا مبرورا وذنْباً مَغْفُوراً، وَسَعْياً مَشْكُوراً.

O Allah, make this pilgrimage an accepted Hajj, a forgiven sin, and a recognized effort.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِر وَارْحَمْ، وَاعْفُ عَمَّا تَعْلَمْ وَأنْتَ الأعَزُّ الأكْرَم، اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنا آتنا في الدُّنْيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وَقِنا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

O Allah, forgive and have mercy, erase what You know [of our sins], for You are the Most Powerful, the Most Noble. O Allah, our Lord, grant us good in this world and in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنا آتنا في الدُّنْيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وَقِنا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

O Allah, our Lord, grant us good in this world...

اللَّهُمَّ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ أتَيْتُكَ بِذُنُوبٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وأعْمالٍ سَيِّئَةٍ وَهَذَا مَقَامُ العائِذِ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ فاغْفِرْ لي إنَّكَ أنْتَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ.

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant. I come to You burdened with many sins and wrongdoings. This is the station of one who seeks refuge in You from the Fire. Forgive me, for You are the Forgiver, the Most Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الحَمْدُ حَمْداً يُوَافِي نعمك، ويكافئ مَزِيدَكَ، أحْمَدُكَ بِجَمِيعِ مَحَامِدِكَ ما عَلِمْتُ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ على جَمِيعِ نِعَمِكَ ما عَلِمْتُ مِنْها وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَعَلى كُلّ حالٍ، اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ على مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، اللَّهُمَّ أعِذنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطانِ الرَّجِيمِ، وأَعِذْني مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ، وَقَنِّعْنِي بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَكْرَمِ وَفْدِكَ عَلَيْكَ، وألْزِمْنِي سَبِيلَ الاسْتِقَامَةِ حتَّى ألْقاكَ يا رب العالمين.

O Allah, to You belongs all praise, a praise that matches Your favors and responds to Your abundant generosity. I praise You with all Your praises, those I know and those I do not know, for all Your favors, those I know and those I do not know, and for all...

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الحَمْدُ حَمْداً يُوَافِي نعمك، ويكافئ مَزِيدَكَ، أحْمَدُكَ بِجَمِيعِ مَحَامِدِكَ ما عَلِمْتُ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ على جَمِيعِ نِعَمِكَ ما عَلِمْتُ مِنْها وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَعَلى كُلّ حالٍ، اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ على مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، اللَّهُمَّ أعِذنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطانِ الرَّجِيمِ، وأَعِذْني مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ، وَقَنِّعْنِي بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَكْرَمِ وَفْدِكَ عَلَيْكَ، وألْزِمْنِي سَبِيلَ الاسْتِقَامَةِ حتَّى ألْقاكَ يا رب العالمين.

O Allah, send prayers and peace upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad. O Allah, protect me from Satan the accursed, preserve me from all evil, grant me contentment with what You have decreed for me, and bless it for me. O Allah, make us...

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ عَلَى مَا هَدَانَا، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى مَا أَوْلَانَا، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَلَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ، مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ: ادْعُونِي أسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ، وَإِنَّكَ لا تُخْلِفُ المِيعادَ، وإنِّي أسألُكَ كما هَدَيْتَنِي لِلإِسْلامِ أنْ لا تَنْزِعَهُ مِنِّي حتَّى تَتَوَفَّاني وأنَا مُسْلِمٌ.

O Allah, You have said, “Call upon Me; I will respond to you,” and You never fail in Your promise. I ask You—since You have guided me to Islam—not to take it away from me until You recall me to You as a Muslim.

اللَّهُمَّ اعْصِمْنَا بِدِينِكَ وَطَوَاعِيَتِكَ وَطَوَاعِيَةِ رَسُولِكَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَجَنِّبْنَا حُدُودَكَ. اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنا نُحِبُّكَ ونُحِبُّ مَلائِكَتَكَ وأنْبِياءَكَ وَرُسُلَكَ، وَنُحِبُّ عِبادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْنا إلَيْكَ وَإلى مَلائِكَتِكَ وإلَى أنْبِيائِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ، وإلى عِبادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ يَسِّرْنا لليُسْرَى، وَجَنِّبْنا العُسْرَى، واغْفِرْ لَنا في الآخِرَةِ والأولى، وَاجْعَلْنا مِنْ أئمَّةِ المُتَّقِينَ.

O Allah, make us love You, as well as Your angels, Your prophets and Your messengers, and make us love Your righteous servants. O Allah, make us beloved to You, to Your angels, to Your prophets and messengers, and to Your righteous servants.

اللَّهُمَّ اعْصِمْنَا بِدِينِكَ وَطَوَاعِيَتِكَ وَطَوَاعِيَةِ رَسُولِكَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَجَنِّبْنَا حُدُودَكَ. اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنا نُحِبُّكَ ونُحِبُّ مَلائِكَتَكَ وأنْبِياءَكَ وَرُسُلَكَ، وَنُحِبُّ عِبادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْنا إلَيْكَ وَإلى مَلائِكَتِكَ وإلَى أنْبِيائِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ، وإلى عِبادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ يَسِّرْنا لليُسْرَى، وَجَنِّبْنا العُسْرَى، واغْفِرْ لَنا في الآخِرَةِ والأولى، وَاجْعَلْنا مِنْ أئمَّةِ المُتَّقِينَ.

O Allah, make easy for us the path of ease, distance us from the path of hardship, forgive us in the Hereafter and in this world, and make us guides for the righteous.

اللَّهُمَّ يا مُقَلِّبَ القُلُوبِ ثَبِّت قَلْبي على دِينكَ.

O Allah, You Who turn the hearts, strengthen my heart in Your religion.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ مُوجِباتِ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَالسَّلامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إثْمٍ، وَالفَوْزَ بالجَنَّةِ، وَالنَّجاةَ مِنَ النَّارِ.

O Allah, I ask You for what brings forth Your mercy, the resolutions of Your forgiveness, protection from all sin, success in reaching Paradise, and deliverance from the Fire.

اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أسألُكَ الهُدَى والتُّقَى والعَفَافَ وَالغِنَى.

O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and sufficiency.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ مِنَ الخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ ما عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَما لَمْ أعْلَمُ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرّ كُلِّهِ ما عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أعْلَمْ، وأسألُكَ الجَنَّةَ وَما قَرّبَ إِلَيْها مِنْ قَوْلٍ أوْ عَمَلٍ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إلَيْها مِنْ قَوْلٍ أوْ عَمَلٍ.

O Allah, I ask You for all the good that I know and that which I do not know, and I seek refuge in You from all the evil that I know and that which I do not know. I ask You for Paradise and all that brings me closer to it in words or deeds.

اللَّهُمَّ إيَّاكَ أرْجُو، وَلَكَ أدْعُو، فَبَلِّغْنِي صَالِحَ أمَلِي، واغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي، وَامْنُنْ عَليَّ بِما مَنَنْتَ بِهِ على أهْلِ طاعَتِكَ إنَّكَ على كل شئ قدير.

O Allah, it is You whom I hope for and to You whom I supplicate. Grant me the fulfillment of my virtuous hope, forgive my sins, and shower me with Your blessings as You have done for those who obey You, for You are capable of all things.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَالَّذِي نَقُولُ، وَخَيْرًا مِمَّا نَقُولُ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي، وَإِلَيْكَ مَآلِي، وَلَكَ رَبِّ تُرَاثِي، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَوَسْوَسَةِ الصَّدْرِ، وَشَتَاتِ الْأَمْرِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَجِيءُ بِهِ الرِّيحُ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, the distress of the chest, the scattering of affairs, and from the evil that the wind may bring.

اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْماً كَثِيراً، وإنَّه لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ فاغْفِرْ لي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْني إنَّكَ أنْتَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ.

O Allah, I have wronged my soul greatly, and none forgives sins except You. Forgive me with a forgiveness from Yourself, and have mercy on me, for You are the Forgiver, the Most Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي مَغْفِرَةً تُصْلِحْ بِها شأني فِي الدَّارَيْنِ، وارْحَمْنِي أسْعَدُ بِهَا في الدَّارَيْنِ، وَتُبْ عليَّ تَوْبَةً نَصُوحاً لا أنْكُثها أبَداً، وألْزِمْنِي سَبِيلَ الاسْتِقَامَةِ لا أَزيغُ عَنْها أبَداً.

O Allah, forgive me with a forgiveness that improves my condition in both abodes. Have mercy on me with a mercy that brings me joy in both abodes. Accept my repentance with sincere repentance that I will never betray. Guide me to the path of uprightness and keep me steadfast upon it.

اللَّهُمَّ انْقُلْنِي مِنْ ذُلِّ المَعْصِيَةِ إلى عِزَّ الطَّاعَةِ، وأغْنِنِي بحَلالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَبِطاعَتِكَ عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ، وَبِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّن سِوَاكَ.

O Allah, take me from the humiliation of disobedience to the honor of obedience, enrich me with Your lawful over Your unlawful, with Your obedience over Your disobedience, and with Your grace over all besides You.

إِلَيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ أرْغَبُ، وإيَّاكَ أرْجُو، فَتَقَبَّلْ نُسُكِي، وَوَفِّقْنِي، وارْزُقْنِي فيهِ مِنَ الخَيْرِ أكْثَرَ ما أطْلُبُ، وَلا تُخَيِّبْني إنَّكَ أنْتَ اللَّهُ الجَوَادُ الكَرِيمُ.

O Allah, I supplicate to You and in You is my hope. Accept my act of worship, grant me success, and bestow upon me in this night more good than I ask for. Do not disappoint me, for You are Allah, the Generous, the Noble.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ أنْ تَرْزُقَنِي في هَذَا المَكانِ جَوامِعَ الخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ، وأنْ تُصْلِحَ شأنِي كُلَّهُ، وأنْ تَصْرِفَ عَنِّي الشَّرَّ كُلَّهُ، فإنَّه لاَ يَفْعَلُ ذلكَ غَيْرُكَ، وَلاَ يَجُودُ بِهِ إِلاَّ أنت.

O Allah, I ask You to grant me all forms of good in this place, to improve all my affairs, and to ward off all evil from me, for none can do this but You, and none grants it except You.

اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا وَقَفْتَنَا فِيهِ وَأَرَيْتَنَا إِيَّاهُ، فَوَفِّقْنَا لِذِكْرِكَ كَمَا هَدَيْتَنَا، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا كَمَا وَعَدْتَنَا بِقَوْلِكَ، وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ: «فَإِذَا أَفَضْتُمْ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ فَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ عِنْدَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ وَاذْكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَاكُمْ وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ لَمِنَ الضَّالِّينَ، ثُمَّ أَفِيضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ».

O Allah, since You have brought us to it and shown it to us, grant us success in invoking You as You have guided us.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الحَمْد كُلُّهُ، وَلَكَ الكَمالُ كُلُّهُ، ولك الجَلالُ كُلُّهُ، ولك التقديس كُلُّهُ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي جَميعَ ما أسْلَفْتُهُ، وَاعْصِمْنِي فِيما بَقِيَ، وَارْزُقْني عَمَلاً صَالِحاً تَرْضَى بِهِ عنِّي يا ذَا الفَضْلِ العَظِيمِ.

O Allah, all praise is Yours, all perfection is Yours, all majesty is Yours, all holiness is Yours. O Allah, forgive me for all that I have done, protect me for the future, and grant me a righteous deed that pleases You.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسْتَشْفِعُ إِلَيْكَ بخَوَاصّ عِبَادِكَ، وأتَوَسَّلُ بِكَ إِلَيْكَ، أسألُكَ أنْ تَرْزُقَنِي جَوَامِعَ الخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ، وأن تَمُنَّ عَليَّ بِمَا مَنَنْتَ بِهِ عَلى أوْلِيائِكَ، وأنْ تُصْلحَ حالي في الآخِرَةِ وَالدُّنْيَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

O Allah, I seek Your intercession through Your favored servants and commend myself to You through Yourself. I ask You to grant me all forms of good and to bestow upon me the favors with which You have favored Your allies, and to improve my state.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بَلَّغَنِيهَا سَالِمًا مُعَافًى. اللَّهُمَّ هَذِهِ مِنَى قَدْ أتَيْتُها، وأنا عَبْدُكَ، وفي قَبْضَتِكَ أسألُكَ أنْ تَمُنَّ عَليَّ بِمَا مَنَنْتَ به على أوليائِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الحِرْمانِ وَالمُصِيبَةِ في دِينِي يا أرْحَمَ الراحمين.

O Allah, here is Mina where I present myself, Your servant, between Your hands. I ask You to bestow upon me the favors You have bestowed upon Your allies. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from deprivation and misfortune in my religion, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ على مُحَمَّدٍ وعلى آلِه وسَلّم، اللَّهُمَّ مِنْكَ وَإِلَيْكَ، تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي.

O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon his family and grant them peace. O Allah, [this sacrifice comes] from You and returns to You; accept it from me (or: accept it from So-and-so, if he performs it on behalf of another).

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى مَا هَدَانَا، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى مَا أَنْعَمَ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا. اللَّهُمَّ هَذِهِ نَاصِيَتي فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي وَاغْفِرْ لي ذُنُوبي، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي وللْمُحَلِّقِينَ والمُقَصِّرِينَ، يا وَاسِعَ المَغْفِرَةِ آمِين.

O Allah, here is my neck [submitted to You], accept it from me and forgive my sins. O Allah, forgive me as well as those who shave their heads or shorten their hair, O You whose forgiveness is vast, answer us.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي قَضَى عَنَّا نُسُكَنَا. اللَّهُمَّ زِدْنا إيمَاناً ويقينا وَعَوناً، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ولآبائِنا وأُمَّهاتِنا والمُسْلِمينَ أجْمَعِينَ.

O Allah, increase us in faith, in certainty, and in aid, and forgive us as well as our fathers, our mothers, and all the Muslims.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أشْرَبُهُ مُسْتَشْفِياً بِهِ فَاشْفِني.

O Allah, I drink it seeking cure, so cure me, and so on. Allah knows best.

اللَّهُمَّ، الْبَيْتُ بَيْتُكَ، وَالْعَبْدُ عَبْدُكَ، وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، حَمَلْتَنِي عَلَى مَا سَخَّرْتَ لِي مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، حَتَّى سَيَّرْتَنِي فِي بِلَادِكَ، وَبَلَّغْتَنِي بِنِعْمَتِكَ حَتَّى أَعَنْتَنِي عَلَى قَضَاءِ مَنَاسِكِكَ، فَإِنْ كُنْتَ رَضِيتَ عَنِّي فَازْدَدْ عَنِّي رِضًى، وَإِلَّا فَمِنَ الْآنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْأَى عَنْ بَيْتِكَ دَارِي، هَذَا أَوَانُ انْصِرَافِي، إِنْ أَذِنْتَ لِي، غَيْرَ مُسْتَبْدِلٍ بِكَ وَلَا بِبَيْتِكَ، وَلَا رَاغِبٍ عَنْكَ وَلَا عَنْ بَيْتِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ فأصْحِبْنِي العافِيَةَ في بَدَنِي وَالعِصْمَةَ في دِينِي، وأحْسِنْ مُنْقَلَبِي، وَارْزُقْنِي طاعَتَكَ ما أبْقَيْتَنِي واجْمَعْ لي خَيْرَي الآخِرةِ والدُّنْيا، إنَّكَ على كُلّ شئ قدير.

O Allah, grant me sound health in my body and preservation in my religion. Make my return good, grant me Your obedience as long as You keep me alive, and gather for me the good of this world and the Hereafter. Indeed, You are capable of all things.

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ عَليَّ أبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَارْزُقْنِي في زِيارَةِ قَبْرِ نَبِيِّكَ صلى الله عليه وسلم ما رزقْتَهُ أوْلِياءَكَ وأهْلَ طَاعَتِكَ، واغْفِرْ لي وارْحمنِي يا خَيْرَ مَسْؤُول.

O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy. Grant me, when visiting the grave of Your Prophet (ﷺ), what You have granted to Your close friends and the people of Your obedience. Forgive me and have mercy on me, O Best of those who are supplicated to.

اللَّهُمَّ لا تَجْعَلْ هَذَا آخِرَ العَهْدِ بِحَرَمِ رَسُولِكَ، وَيَسِّرْ لي العَوْدَ إِلى الحَرَمَيْنِ سَبِيلاً سَهْلَةً بِمَنِّكَ وَفَضْلِكَ، وَارْزقْنِي العَفْوَ والعَافِيةَ في الدُّنْيا والآخِرَةِ، وَرُدَّنا سالِمِينَ غانِمِينَ إلى أوْطانِنا آمِنِينَ.

O Allah, do not make this the final farewell to the sanctuary of Your Messenger. Facilitate my return to the two sanctuaries by an easy path, by Your grace and favor. Grant me forgiveness and preservation in this world and the Hereafter, and cause us to return...

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّ العَيْشَ عَيْشُ الآخِرَةِ، فاغْفِرْ لِلأنْصَارِ وَالمُهاجِرَةِ.

O Allah, the true life is that of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajirin.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أنْشُدُكَ عَهْدَكَ وَوَعْدَكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إنْ شِئْتَ لَمْ تُعْبَدْ بَعْدَ اليَوْمِ.

O Allah, I ask You for Your commitment and Your promise. O Allah, if You will, no one will worship You after this day.” Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) then took his hand and said, “That is enough, O Messenger of Allah. You have pressed your Lord too much.” He left, saying, “They will soon be defeated...”

اللَّهُمَّ أنْجِزْ لي ما وَعَدْتَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ آتِ ما وَعَدْتَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ إنْ تَهْلِكْ هَذِهِ العِصابَةُ مِنْ أهْلِ الإِسْلامِ لا تُعْبَدْ فِي الأرْضِ.

O Allah, fulfill for me what You have promised me. O Allah, grant me what You have promised me. O Allah, if this group of Muslims perishes, no one will worship You on Earth. He continued to supplicate to his Lord, with his hands raised, until his cloak fell.

اللَّهُمَّ مُنْزِلَ الكِتَابِ، ومُجْرِيَ السَّحابِ، وَهازِم الأحْزَابِ، اهْزِمْهُمْ وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ.

O Allah, You Who sent down the Book, Who moves the clouds and Who breaks up alliances, break them and grant us victory over them. O Allah, You Who sent down the Book, swift in judgment, break up the alliances. O Allah, break them.

اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ عَضُدِي وَنَصيرِي، بِكَ أحُولُ، وَبِكَ أصُولُ، وَبِكَ أُقاتِلُ.

O Allah, You are my Supporter and my Helper; through You I move, through You I strike, and through You I fight.

اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ رَبُّنا وَرَبُّهُمْ، وَقُلُوبُنا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ بِيَدِكَ، وإنَّمَا يَغْلِبُهُمْ أنْتَ.

O Allah, You are our Lord and their Lord. Our hearts and their hearts are in Your hands, and it is You Who controls them.

اللَّهُمَّ لَوْلا أنْتَ ما اهْتَدَيْنا، وَلا تَصَدَّقْنا ولا صلينا، فأنزلن سَكِينَةً عَلَيْنا، وَثَبِّتِ الأقْدَام إنْ لاقَيْنا، إنَّ الأُلى قَدْ بَغَوْا عَلَيْنا، إذَا أرَادُوا فِتْنَةً أبَيْنا.

O Allah, without You, we would not have been guided, nor would we have given charity nor prayed. Send down upon us tranquility and make our steps firm if we encounter them. They oppressed us, and if they seek sedition, we refuse.

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّهُ لا خَيْرَ إِلاَّ خَيْرُ الآخِرَةِ، فَبارِكْ في الأنْصَارِ والمهاجرة.

O Allah, there is no good except the good of the Hereafter. Bless the Ansar and the Muhajirun.

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أسْتَعِينُ، وَعَلَيْكَ أتَوَكَّلُ، اللَّهُمَّ ذَلِّلْ لي صعُوبَةَ أمْرِي، وَسَهِّلْ عَليَّ مَشَقَّةَ سَفَرِي، وَارْزُقْنِي مِنَ الخَيْرِ أكْثَرَ مِمَّا أطْلُبُ، وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي كُلَّ شَرٍّ، رَبّ اشْرَحْ لي صَدْرِي، وَيَسِّرْ لِي أمْرِي، اللَّهُمَّ إني أسْتَحْفِظُكَ وأسْتَوْدِعُكَ نَفْسِي وَدِينِي وأهْلِي وأقارِبي وكُلَّ ما أنْعَمْتَ عَليَّ وَعَليْهِمْ بِهِ مِنْ آخِرَةٍ وَدُنْيا، فاحْفَظْنَا أجمعَينَ مِنْ كُلّ سُوءٍ يا كَرِيمُ.

O Allah, in You I seek help, and in You I place my trust. O Allah, make easy for me the difficulty of my affair, lighten for me the weariness of my journey, grant me more good than I ask for, and turn away from me all harm, O Lord.

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أسْتَعِينُ، وَعَلَيْكَ أتَوَكَّلُ، اللَّهُمَّ ذَلِّلْ لي صعُوبَةَ أمْرِي، وَسَهِّلْ عَليَّ مَشَقَّةَ سَفَرِي، وَارْزُقْنِي مِنَ الخَيْرِ أكْثَرَ مِمَّا أطْلُبُ، وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي كُلَّ شَرٍّ، رَبّ اشْرَحْ لي صَدْرِي، وَيَسِّرْ لِي أمْرِي، اللَّهُمَّ إني أسْتَحْفِظُكَ وأسْتَوْدِعُكَ نَفْسِي وَدِينِي وأهْلِي وأقارِبي وكُلَّ ما أنْعَمْتَ عَليَّ وَعَليْهِمْ بِهِ مِنْ آخِرَةٍ وَدُنْيا، فاحْفَظْنَا أجمعَينَ مِنْ كُلّ سُوءٍ يا كَرِيمُ.

O Allah, I take You as my Guardian and entrust to You my soul, my faith, my family, my loved ones, and all that You have bestowed upon us, in this world and the Hereafter. Protect us all from all evil, O Generous One.

اللَّهُمَّ إِلَيْكَ تَوَجَّهْتُ، وَبِكَ اعْتَصَمْتُ، اللَّهُمَّ اكْفني ما هَمَّني وَمَا لا أَهْتَمُّ لَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ زَوِّدْنِي التَّقْوَى، وَاغْفِرْ لي ذَنْبِي، وَوَجِّهْنِي لِلْخَيْرِ أيْنَمَا تَوَجَّهْتُ.

O Allah, to You I turn, and in You I seek refuge. O Allah, protect me from what preoccupies me and from what does not concern me. O Allah, grant me piety, forgive my sins, and guide me to good wherever I may turn.

اللَّهُمَّ اطْوِ لَهُ البَعِيدَ، وهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ.

O Allah, shorten the distance for him and make his journey easy.

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ. اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسألُكَ فِي سفَرِنَا هَذَا البِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى، وَمِنْ العَمَلِ ما تَرْضَى، اللَّهُمَّ هون عَلَيْنا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا، وَاطْوِ عَنّا بُعْدَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالخَلِيفَةُ في الأهل، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثاءِ السَّفَرِ، وكآبَةِ المَنْظَرِ، وَسُوءِ المُنْقَلَبِ في المَالِ والأهْلِ.

O Allah, we ask You in this journey for goodness and piety, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and shorten its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor to the family.

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ. اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسألُكَ فِي سفَرِنَا هَذَا البِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى، وَمِنْ العَمَلِ ما تَرْضَى، اللَّهُمَّ هون عَلَيْنا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا، وَاطْوِ عَنّا بُعْدَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالخَلِيفَةُ في الأهل، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثاءِ السَّفَرِ، وكآبَةِ المَنْظَرِ، وَسُوءِ المُنْقَلَبِ في المَالِ والأهْلِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the fatigue of travel, the sorrow of separation, and the evil consequences regarding wealth and family. And upon returning, one says these words, adding: "We return repentant, worshipping, and praising our Lord."

اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ، والخليفة في الأهْلِ، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وعثاء السفر، وكآبة المنقلب، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةِ المَظْلُومِ، وَمِنْ سُوءِ المَنْظَرِ فِي الأهْلِ وَالمَالِ.

O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor with the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the weariness of travel, the sorrow of return, the invocation of the oppressed, and the evil spectacle concerning family and wealth.

اللَّهُمَّ لكَ الشَّرَفُ على كُلِّ شَرَفٍ، وَلَكَ الحَمْد على كُلّ حال.

O Allah, to You belongs all honor, and to You is all praise for all things.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السمَوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَما أظْلَلْنَ، وَالأَرْضيِن السَّبْعِ وَما أقْلَلْنَ، وَرَبَّ الشَّياطينِ وَمَا أضْلَلْنَ، وَرَبَّ الرّياحِ وَمَا ذَرَيْنَ، أسألُكَ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ القَرْيَةِ وَخَيْرَ أهْلِها وَخَيْرَ ما فِيها، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّها وَشَرّ أهْلها وَشَرّ ما فِيهَا.

O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all that they shade, Lord of the seven earths and all that they carry, Lord of the devils and those they mislead, Lord of the winds and all that they scatter, I ask You for the good of this village and the good of its people.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ هَذِهِ وَخَيْرِ ما جَمَعْتَ فِيها وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّها وَشَرّ ما جَمَعْتَ فِيها، اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنا حَيَاها، وَأَعِذْنا مِنْ وَباهَا، وَحَبِّبْنا إلى أهْلِهَا، وَحَبِّبْ صَالِحي أهْلِها إِلَيْنا.

O Allah, I ask You for the good of this.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ هَذِهِ وَخَيْرِ ما جَمَعْتَ فِيها وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّها وَشَرّ ما جَمَعْتَ فِيها، اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنا حَيَاها، وَأَعِذْنا مِنْ وَباهَا، وَحَبِّبْنا إلى أهْلِهَا، وَحَبِّبْ صَالِحي أهْلِها إِلَيْنا.

O Allah, grant us its sustenance, protect us from its afflictions, make us love its people, and make the righteous among them love us.

اللَّهُمَّ أصْلِحْ لي ديني الَّذي جَعَلْتَهُ عِصْمَةَ أمْرِي، اللَّهُمَّ أصْلِحْ لي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي جَعَلْتَ فِيها مَعاشِي، اللَّهُمَّ أصْلِحْ لي آخِرَتِي التي جَعَلْتَ إِلَيْها مَرْجِعي، اللَّهُمَّ أعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سُخْطِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ أعوذ بك مِنْكَ، لا مانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلا معطي لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلا ينفع ذا الجد منك الجد.

O Allah, improve for me my religion, which You have made the safeguard of my affairs. O Allah, improve for me my life in this world where You have placed my sustenance— O Allah, improve for me my life to come, to which You have caused me to return.

اللَّهُمَّ أصْلِحْ لي ديني الَّذي جَعَلْتَهُ عِصْمَةَ أمْرِي، اللَّهُمَّ أصْلِحْ لي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي جَعَلْتَ فِيها مَعاشِي، اللَّهُمَّ أصْلِحْ لي آخِرَتِي التي جَعَلْتَ إِلَيْها مَرْجِعي، اللَّهُمَّ أعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سُخْطِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ أعوذ بك مِنْكَ، لا مانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلا معطي لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلا ينفع ذا الجد منك الجد.

O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from You—[three times]—Nothing can withhold what You give, and nothing can give what You withhold, and the fortune of the fortunate avails him nothing before You.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لَنا بِهَا قَرَاراً وَرِزْقاً حَسَناً.

O Allah, grant us a stable dwelling and good sustenance there.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْحاجّ وَلِمَنِ اسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُ الحاج.

O Allah, forgive the pilgrim and those for whom the pilgrim seeks forgiveness.

اللَّهُمَّ بارِكْ لَنا فِيما رَزَقْتَنا، وَقِنا عَذَابَ النَّارِ، بسم الله.

O Allah, bless us in what You have granted us and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. In the name of Allah.

اللَّهُمَّ أطْعَمْتَ وَسَقَيْتَ، وَأغْنَيْتَ وأقْنَيْتَ، وَهَدَيْتَ وأحييت، فَلَكَ الحَمْدُ على ما أعطيت.

O Allah, You have nourished and given us drink, enriched and bestowed upon us, guided and granted us life. To You belongs all praise for what You have given.

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَأَطْعِمْنَا خَيْرًا مِنْهُ. اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ.

O Allah, bless him for us and grant us better than this. (And whoever Allah has given to drink milk, let him say:) O Allah, bless it for us and increase it for us, for nothing replaces food and drink like milk.

اللَّهُمَّ بارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيما رَزَقْتَهُمْ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ.

O Allah, bless them in what You have granted them, forgive them and have mercy on them.

اللَّهُمَّ أطْعِمْ مَنْ أطْعَمَنِي، وَاسْقِ مَنْ سَقانِي.

O Allah, nourish the one who nourished me and give drink to the one who gave me drink.

اللَّهُمَّ أمْتِعْهُ بِشَبابِه.

O Allah, grant him benefit in his youth, for eighty years have passed over him without a single white hair appearing.

اللَّهُمَّ جَمِّلْهُ.

O Allah, adorn him.

اللَّهُمَّ إِني أسألُكَ خَيْرَها وَخَيْرَ ما جَبَلْتَها عَلَيْهِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّها وَشَرِّ ما جَبَلْتَها عَلَيْهِ.

O Allah, I ask You for her good and the good for which You created her, and I seek refuge in You from her evil and the evil for which You created her.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ، أشْهَدُ أنْ لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، أسْتَغْفِرُكَ وأتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ.

O Allah, by Your praise, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I ask Your forgiveness and repent to You. May the sins committed in this gathering thus be forgiven.

اللَّهُمَّ اقْسِمْ لَنا مِنْ خشيتك ما تحول به بَيْنَنا وبَيْنَ مَعاصِيكَ، وَمِنْ طاعَتِكَ ما تُبَلِّغُنا بِهِ جَنَّتَكَ، وَمِنَ اليَقين ما تُهَوِّنُ بِهِ عَلَيْنا مَصَائبَ الدُّنْيا، اللَّهُمَّ مَتِّعْنا بأسْماعنا وأبْصَارِنا وَقُوَّتِنا ما أحْيَيْتَنا، واجْعَلْهُ الوَارِثَ منَّا، وَاجْعَلْ ثأْرنا على مَنْ ظَلَمَنا، وانْصُرْنا على مَنْ عادَانا وَلا تَجْعَلْ مُصِيبَتَنا في دِينِنا، وَلا تَجْعَلِ الدُّنْيا أكْبَرَ هَمِّنا وَلا مَبْلَغَ عِلْمِنا، وَلا تُسَلِّط عَلَيْنا مَنْ لا يَرْحمُنا.

O Allah, grant us a portion of Your fear that will protect us from disobeying You, a portion of Your obedience that will lead us to Your Paradise, and a portion of certainty that will make the trials of this world easy for us. O Allah, let us enjoy...

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ذَنْبِي، وأذْهِبْ غَيْظَ قَلْبِي، وأجِرْني مِنَ الشَّيْطانِ.

O Allah, forgive me my sins, soothe the anger in my heart, and protect me from Satan.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ. اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أسألُكَ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ السّوقِ وَخَيْرَ ما فِيها، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّها وَشَرّ ما فِيهَا، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ أنْ أُصِيبَ فِيها يَمِيناً فاجِرَةً أوْ صَفْقَةً خاسِرَةً.

O Allah, I ask You for the good of this market and the good it contains, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil it harbors. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from swearing falsely or engaging in a losing transaction.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ. اللَّهُمَّ كما حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي.

O Allah, just as You have beautified my creation, beautify also my character.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ رِعْلاً وَذَكْوَانَ وَعُصَيَّةَ.

O Allah, curse Ri'l, Dhakwân, and 'Usayya.

اللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِقُرَيْشٍ.

O Allah, take Quraysh as targets (repeated three times).

اللَّهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطأتَكَ على مُضَرَ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْها عَلَيْهِمْ سِنِينَ كَسِنيِّ يُوسُفَ.

O Allah, make Your punishment heavy upon Mudar. O Allah, make these years for them like the years of Joseph (years of famine).

اللَّهُمَّ فَقِّهْهُ.

O Allah, grant him understanding (Al-Bukhari adds: grant him understanding of the religion).

اللَّهُمَّ بارِكْ لَنا في ثَمَرِنا، وبَارِكْ لَنا في مَدِينَتِنا، وبَارِكْ لَنا في صَاعِنا، وبَارِكْ لَنا في مُدّنا.

O Allah, bless for us our fruits, bless for us our city, bless for us our sa' (measure), bless for us our mudd (measure), then he invokes the youngest child present and gives him this fruit.

اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا أَرَيْتَنَا أَوَّلَهُ فَأَرِنَا آخِرَهُ.

O Allah, as You have shown us its beginning, show us its end, then grant it to one of the children present.

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أُحَاوِلُ، وَبِكَ أُقَاتِلُ، وَبِكَ أُصَاوِلُ.

O Allah, it is by You that I begin, and by You that I strive.

رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ. رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَنْ تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنْصَارٍ. رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ. رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ.

O our Lord, You have not created all this in vain. Glory be to You! Protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ خَيْرَهُ وَخَيْرَ مَا جُبِلَ عَلَيْهِ، وَأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ ما جُبِلَ عَلَيْهِ.

O Allah, I ask You for his good and the good of that for which he was created, and I seek refuge in You from his evil and the evil of that for which he was created.

اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ وَاجْعَلْهُ هادِياً مَهْدِيّاً.

O Allah, strengthen him and make him a rightly guided guide.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ رِعْلاً وَذَكْوَانَ وَعُصَيَّةَ عَصَتِ الله ورسوله.

O Allah, curse Ri’l, Dhakwân, and ‘Usayya, who disobeyed Allah and His Messenger—these three are Arab tribes.

رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ آتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُ زِينَةً وَأَمْوَالًا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ.

O our Lord, destroy their wealth and harden their hearts so that they will not believe… (Qur’an, 10:88).

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِني، وَعافِني، وَارْزُقْني.

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, protect me, and provide for me.

اللَّهُمَّ يا مُصَرِّفَ القُلُوبِ صَرِّفْ قُلُوبَنا على طاعَتِكَ.

O Allah, You Who turn the hearts, turn our hearts toward Your obedience.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعوذ بِكَ مِنَ العَجْزِ، وَالكَسَلِ، وَالجُبْنِ، وَالهَرَمِ، وَالبُخْلِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ، وَأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ المَحيَا وَالمَماتِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, senility, and miserliness. I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave and from the trial of life and death. (

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي خَطِيئَتي، وَجَهْلي، وَإسْرَافِي في أمْرِي، ومَا أنْتَ أعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي جَدّي، وَهَزْلي، وَخَطَئي، وَعَمْدي، وَكُلُّ ذلكَ عِنْدِي، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ما قَدَّمْتُ، وَمَا أخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أسْرَرْتُ، وَما أعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أنْتَ أعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، أنْتَ المُقَدِّمُ، وأنْتَ المُؤَخِّرُ، وأنْتَ على كل شئ قَدِيرٌ.

O Allah, forgive me my sins, my ignorance, my excesses in my affairs, and what You know better than I. O Allah, forgive me my serious deeds and my jokes, my mistakes and my deliberate acts, and all of that is in me. O Allah, forgive me what I have committed.

اللَّهُمَّ إِني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّ ما عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرّ مَا لَمْ أعْمَلْ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not yet done.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عافيتك، وَفَجْأةِ نِقْمَتِكَ وَجَمِيعِ سُخْطِكَ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the loss of Your blessings, the change of Your favor, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all Your wrath.

اللهم إني أعوذ بك مِنَ العَجْزِ، وَالكَسَلِ، وَالجُبْنِ، وَالبُخْلِ، وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ القَبْرِ، اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاها، وَزَكِّها أنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاها، أنْتَ وَلِيُّها وَمَوْلاها، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لا يَخْشَعُ، وَمنْ نَفْسٍ لا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا.

O Allah, grant my soul its piety and purify it, for You are the Best of those who purify it. You are its Protector and its Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not humble itself, from a soul that is never sated, and from...

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِني وَسَدّدْنِي.

O Allah, guide me and make me upright.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي، وَارْحَمْني، وَاهْدني، وَارْزُقْنِي، وَعافني.

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, grant me provision, and protect me from all evil.

اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِيَ الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِيَ الَّتِي إِلَيْهَا مَعَادِي، وَاجْعَلِ الحَيَاةَ زِيَادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ، وَاجْعَلِ المَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ.

O Allah, reform for me my religion, which is the safeguard of my affairs, and reform for me...

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خاصَمْتُ، اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِعِزَّتِكَ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ أنْ تُضِلَّني، أنْتَ الحَيُّ الَّذي لاَ يَموتُ وَالجِنُّ والإِنْسُ يَمُوتُونَ.

O Allah, to You I submit, in You I believe, in You I place my trust, to You I return repentant, and by You I strive. O Allah, I seek refuge in Your power—there is no god but You—against You leading me astray. You are the Ever-Living, who never dies.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ فِتْنَةِ النَّارِ، وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ، وَمنْ شَرّ الغِنَى وَالفَقْرِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire, the punishment of the Fire, and from the evil of wealth and poverty.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بكَ مِنْ مُنْكَرَاتِ الأخْلاقِ وَالأعْمالِ وَالأهْوَاءِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from evil morals, evil deeds, and blameworthy passions.

اللَّهُمَّ إِني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّ سَمْعِي، وَمنْ شَرّ بَصَرِي، وَمِنْ شَرّ لِساني، وَمِنْ شَرّ قَلْبي وَمنْ شَرّ مَنِيِّي.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, the evil of my sight, the evil of my tongue, the evil of my heart, and the evil of my desire.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الهَدْمِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ التَّرَدِّي، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الغَرَقِ وَالحَرَقِ وَالهَرَمِ، وَأعُوذُ بِكَ أنْ يَتَخَبَّطَنِي الشَّيْطانُ عِنْدَ المَوْتِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ أنْ أمُوتَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ مُدْبِراً، وأعُوذُ بِكَ أنْ أمُوتَ لَديغاً.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from collapse, from falling, from drowning, from fire, and from senility. I seek refuge in You from Satan striking me with madness at the time of death, and from dying in [state of...].

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعوذُ بِكَ منَ الجُوعِ فإنَّهُ بِئْسَ الضَّجِيعُ، وَأعُوذُ بك مِنَ الخِيانَةِ فإنَّها بِئْسَتِ البطانَةُ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from hunger, for it is an evil companion, and I seek refuge in You from betrayal, for it is an evil intimacy.

اللَّهُمَّ ألْهِمْنِي رُشْدِي، وَأعِذْنِي مِنْ شَرّ نَفْسِي.

O Allah, inspire in me righteousness and protect me from the evil of my soul.

اللَّهُمَّ عافني في جَسَدِي، وَعافني في بَصَرِي، وَاجْعَلْهُ الوَارِثَ مِنِّي، لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ الحَلِيمُ الكَرِيمُ، سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ العَرْشِ العَظِيمِ، وَالحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبّ العَالَمِينَ.

O Allah, grant me health in my body, grant me health in my sight, and make it an inheritance from my portion. There is no god but You, the Most Clement, the Most Generous. Glory to Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne, and praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ وَالعَمَلَ الَّذي يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حُبَّكَ أحَبَّ إِليَّ مِنْ نَفْسِي وَأهْلِي وَمنَ المَاءِ البارِدِ.

O Allah, I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and the deed that will lead me to Your love. O Allah, make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family, and cool water.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أسألُكَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ ما سألَكَ منْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما اسْتَعاذَكَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأنْتَ المُسْتَعانُ وَعَلَيْكَ البَلاغُ، وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ باللَّهِ.

O Allah, I ask You for all the good that Your Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) asked You for, and I seek refuge in You from all evil against which Your Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) sought refuge. You are the One who grants refuge, and to You all hope turns.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ مِنَ الخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عاجِلِهِ وآجِلِهِ، ما عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَما لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرّ كُلِّهِ عاجله وآجِلهِ ما عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أعْلَمْ، وأسألُكَ الجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرّبَ إِلَيْها مِنْ قَوْلٍ أوْ عَمَلٍ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا سَأَلَكَ بِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَكَ مِنْهُ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مَا قَضَيْتَ لِي مِنْ أَمْرٍ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ عَاقِبَتَهُ رَشَدًا.

O Allah, I ask You for all good, present and future, that I know and that I do not know, and I seek refuge in You from all evil, present and future, that I know and that I do not know. I ask You for Paradise...

اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسألُكَ مُوجِباتِ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ، وَالسَّلامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إثْمٍ، وَالغَنِيمَةَ مِنْ كُلّ بِرٍّ، وَالفَوْزَ بالجَنَّةَ وَالنَّجاةَ منَ النَّارِ.

O Allah, we ask You for the means to Your mercy, the resolutions of Your forgiveness, protection from all sin, attainment of all good, success in entering Paradise, and deliverance from the Fire.

اللَّهُمَّ مَغْفِرَتُكَ أَوْسَعُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي، وَرَحْمَتُكَ أَرْجَى عِنْدِي مِنْ عَمَلِي.

O Allah, Your forgiveness is vaster than my sins, and Your mercy is more hoped for from me than my deeds.

اللَّهُمَّ كَانَ لِي أَبَوَانِ شَيْخَانِ كَبِيرَانِ، وَكُنْتُ لَا أَغْبِقُ قَبْلَهُمَا أَهْلًا وَلَا مَالًا، فَنَأَى بِي فِي طَلَبِ شَيْءٍ يَوْمًا، فَلَمْ أُرِحْ عَلَيْهِمَا حَتَّى نَامَا، فَحَلَبْتُ لَهُمَا غَبُوقَهُمَا فَوَجَدْتُهُمَا نَائِمَيْنِ وَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَغْبِقَ قَبْلَهُمَا أَهْلًا أَوْ مَالًا، فَلَبِثْتُ وَالْقَدَحُ عَلَى يَدَيَّ أَنْتَظِرُ اسْتِيقَاظَهُمَا حَتَّى بَرَقَ الْفَجْرُ، فَاسْتَيْقَظَا فَشَرِبَا غَبُوقَهُمَا، اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتُ فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِكَ فَفَرِّجْ عَنَّا مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ الصَّخْرَةِ.

O Allah, I had two elderly parents, and before them I served neither family nor wealth.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اسْتَأْجَرْتُ أُجَرَاءَ فَأَعْطَيْتُهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ، غَيْرَ رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ تَرَكَ الَّذِي لَهُ وَذَهَبَ، فَثَمَّرْتُ أَجْرَهُ حَتَّى كَثُرَتْ مِنْهُ الْأَمْوَالُ، فَجَاءَنِي بَعْدَ حِينٍ فَقَالَ: يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ أَدِّ إِلَيَّ أَجْرِي. فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: كُلُّ مَا تَرَى مِنْ أَجْرِكَ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ وَالْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ وَالرَّقِيقِ. فَقَالَ: يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ لَا تَسْتَهْزِئْ بِي. فَقُلْتُ: إِنِّي لَا أَسْتَهْزِئُ بِكَ. فَأَخَذَهُ كُلَّهُ فَاسْتَاقَهُ فَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا. اللَّهُمَّ فَإِنْ كُنْتُ فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِكَ فَافْرُجْ عَنَّا مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ.

O Allah, if I have done this seeking Your Face, then deliver us from what we are in.

رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

O our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire—those who are steadfast, truthful, devout, spenders [in Your way], and those who seek Your forgiveness in the last hours of the night.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ.

I seek forgiveness from Allah. There is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. I repent to Him.
