رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ} [سُورَةُ الْأَعْرَافِ: ٢٣] .
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers.
رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ - رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدْتَهُمْ وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ - وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَنْ تَقِ السَّيِّئَاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُ وَذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ} [سُورَةُ غَافِرٍ: ٧ - ٩] .
Our Lord, You encompass all things in Your mercy and knowledge. So forgive those who repent and follow Your path, and preserve them from the punishment of the Blaze. Our Lord, admit them to the Gardens of Eden which You have promised them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their descendants. Indeed, You are the Mighty, the Wise. Preserve them from evil, and whomever You preserve from evil on that Day, You will have shown them mercy. And that is the supreme triumph.
رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَا أَجَلَنَا الَّذِي أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا قَالَ النَّارُ مَثْوَاكُمْ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ} [سُورَةُ الْأَنْعَامِ: ١٢٨] .
Our Lord, some of us have wronged others, and we have reached the term You have set for us. He will say, "The Fire shall be your dwelling, you shall abide therein forever, except as Allah wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing."
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ، مَا أَتَكَلَّمُ بِكَلِمَةٍ إِلَّا وَأَنَا أَخْطُمُهَا وَأَزُمُّهَا إِلَّا هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةَ خَرَجَتْ مِنِّي بِغَيْرِ خِطَامٍ وَلَا زِمَامٍ، أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ.
I seek forgiveness from Allah. I do not utter any word without bridling and mastering it, except for this word that has escaped me without restraint or guidance, or as He has said.
رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَا أَجَلَنَا الَّذِي أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا قَالَ النَّارُ مَثْوَاكُمْ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ - وَكَذَلِكَ نُوَلِّي بَعْضَ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضًا بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ} [سُورَةُ الْأَنْعَامِ: ١٢٨ - ١٢٩] .
Our Lord, some of us have wronged others, and now we have reached the term You have set for us. [Allah] says: The Fire shall be your dwelling, you shall abide therein forever, except as Allah wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing.
رَبَّنَا، فَيَقْرَأُ، وَهُمْ يَسْتَمِعُونَ، فَلِمُحِبِّي الْقُرْآنِ - مِنَ الْوَجْدِ، وَالذَّوْقِ، وَاللَّذَّةِ، وَالْحَلَاوَةِ، وَالسُّرُورِ - أَضْعَافُ مَا لِمُحِبِّي السَّمَاعِ الشَّيْطَانِيِّ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الرَّجُلَ، ذَوْقَهُ، وَوَجْدَهُ، وَطَرَبَهُ، وَتَشَوُّقَهُ إِلَى سَمَاعِ الْأَبْيَاتِ دُونَ سَمَاعِ الْآيَاتِ، وَسَمَاعِ الْأَلْحَانِ دُونَ سَمَاعِ الْقُرْآنِ، كَمَا قِيلَ:
Our Lord, (when He reveals His Word and they listen,) for the lovers of the Qur’an—in terms of deep emotion (wajd), spiritual savour (dhawq), sweetness (ladhdha), delight (ḥalāwa), and joy (surūr)—there are rewards multiplied beyond those of lovers of inspirations from Satan. So if you see a man whose taste, emotion, exaltation, and ardour turn toward listening to poems rather than to the verses of the Qur’an, or toward profane melodies rather than the recitation of the Qur’an, as it has been said:
اللهمَّ ارزقناها.
O Allah, grant us Your sustenance.
رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ، أنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهنَّ، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ، لَكَ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرضِ وَمَن فيهن، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ أنْت نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرْضِ ومَنْ فِيهنَّ، ولكَ الحَمدُ أنْتَ الحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الحَقّ، ولِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ، والجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، والنَّارُ حَقٌّ، ومُحَمَّدٌ حَقٌّ، والسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وبِكَ خاصَمْتُ، وَإلَيْكَ حاكَمْتُ، فاغْفِرْ لي ما قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أعْلَنْتُ، أنْتَ المُقَدِّمُ وأنْتَ المُؤَخِّرُ، لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنتَ " زادَ بعض الرواة: " ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله ".
There is no strength or power except in Allah.
اللهم اجعلني من التوابين والمطهرين إلا فُتِحَتْ لَهُ أبْوَابُ الجَنَّةِ الثَّمانِيَةُ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ أيها شاء " هذا حدث غريب، وفيه تعقب على المنصف في قوله أن التشهد بعد التسمية لم يرد.
O Allah, make me among those who repent abundantly and those whom You purify. (
اللهمَّ صلِّ على محمدٍ وعلى آلِ محمدٍ، ويضمّ إليه: وسلم.
O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, and grant them peace.
اللهمّ اغفر لي ذنوبي وافتح لي أبواب رحمتك، ثم يقول: بسم الله، ويقدّم رجله اليمنى في الدخول، ويقدّم اليسرى في الخروج، ويقول جميع ما ذكرناه إلا أنه يقول: " أبواب فضلك "، بدل " رحمتك ".
O Allah, forgive me my sins and open for me the gates of Your mercy.
اللهمّ ربَّ هذه الدعوة التامة، والصلاة القائمة، صلِّ على محمَّد وآته سؤلَه يومَ القيامة.
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the established prayer, send prayers upon Muhammad and grant him his request on the Day of Resurrection.
اللهمّ آتني أفضل ما تُؤتي عبادك الصالحين، فلما قضى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الصلاة قال: " مَنِ المُتَكَلِّمُ آنِفاً؟ " قَالَ: أنا يا رَسُولَ الله قال: " إذَنْ يُعْقَر جَوَادُكَ وَتَسْتَشْهِد في سَبِيلِ الله تَعَالى " (١) رواه النسائي وابن السني، ورواه البخاري في " تاريخه " في ترجمة محمد بن مسلم بن عائذ.
O Allah, grant me the best of what You grant to Your righteous servants.
اللهمّ إني أسألك العافية أو نحو ذلك، وإذا مرّ بآية تنزيه لله سبحانه وتعالى، نزَّهَ فقال: سبحانه وتعالى، أو: تبارك اللَّهِ رَبِّ العالَمِينَ، أو جلَّت عظمة ربنا، أو نحو ذلك.
O Allah, I ask You for preservation (or good health, security, etc.). Glory be to Him, the Most High! (Subḥānahu wa Ta‘ālā) Blessed be Allah, Lord of the worlds! (Tabāraka Llāhu Rabbu l-‘ālamīn) How sublime is the grandeur of our Lord!
اللهم اغفر لي ".
O Allah, forgive me.
اللهمَّ لكَ رَكَعْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، ولَكَ أسْلَمْتُ، خَشَعَ لَكَ سَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي، ومُخِّي وَعَظْمِي وَعَصبِي ".
O Allah, it is before You that I have bowed (in prayer), it is in You that I have believed, and it is to You that I have submitted. My hearing, my sight, my marrow, my bones, and my nerves humble themselves before You.
رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ حَمْداً كَثِيراً طَيِّباً مُبارَكاً فِيهِ، مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ، وَمِلْءَ الأرْضِ، وَمِلْءَ ما بَيْنَهُما، وَمِلْءَ ما شِئْتَ مِنْ شئ بَعْدُ، أهْلَ الثَّناءِ والمجد، أحق ما قَالَ العَبْدُ، وكلنا لَكَ عَبْدٌ، لا مانِعَ لِمَا أعطيت، ولا معطي لما مَنَعْتَ، وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجَدّ مِنْكَ الجَدُّ.
O our Lord, to You belongs all praise, abundant, pure, and blessed praise, filling the heavens, filling the earth, filling what lies between them, and filling all that You will thereafter. You are worthy of all glorification and all majesty. You are the One to whom belongs the most truthful speech a servant can utter, and we are all Your servants. No one can withhold what You give, and no one can give what You withhold. And the power of the powerful avails them nothing against You.
رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ، مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأرْضِ، وَمِلْءَ ما شِئْتَ من شئ بَعْدُ، أهْلَ الثَّناءِ والمجد، أحق ما قالَ العَبْدُ، وكُلُّنا لَكَ عَبْدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ لا مانِعَ لِمَا أعطيت، ولا معطي لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجَدِّ مِنْكَ الجَدُّ ".
O our Lord, to You belongs all praise, as much as fills the heavens and the earth, and as much as You will of all things besides. You are worthy of all glorification and all majesty. These are the most just words a servant can utter, and we are all Your servants. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold. The fortune (or effort) of the fortunate man avails him nothing before You.
رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ حَمْداً كَثِيراً طَيِّباً مُبارَكاً فِيهِ، فلما انصرف قال: " مَن المُتَكَلِّمُ؟ " قال: أنا، قال: " رأيتُ بِضْعَةً وثلاثين ملكا يَبْتَدِرُونَها أيُّهُمْ يَكْتُبُها أول ".
O our Lord, to You all praise, abundant, pure, and blessed praise!
اللهم إني أعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الكَرِيمِ وَبِكَلِماتِكَ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ شَر ما أنْتَ آخِذٌ بِناصِيَتِهِ، اللَّهُمّ أنْتَ تَكْشِفُ المَغْرَمَ والمَأثمَ، اللَّهُمَّ لا يُهْزَمُ جُنْدُكَ وَلا يخلف وعدك، ولا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجَدّ مِنْكَ الجَدُّ، سُبْحانَكَ وَبِحَمْدِكَ ".
O Allah, I seek refuge in Your Noble Countenance and in Your perfect Words against the evil of what You seize by its forelock (its destiny). O Allah, it is You Who dispels debts and sins. O Allah, Your army is never defeated, Your promise is never broken, and the fortune of one who enjoys it will avail him nothing before You. Glory and praise be to You.
اللهمَّ بارك لي فيه يا أرحم الراحمين " ويَستاك في ظاهر الأسنان وباطنها، ويمرّ السواك على أطراف أسنانه وكراسي أضراسه، وسقف حلقه إمراراً لطيفاً، ويستاك بعود متوسط، لا شديد اليبوسة،
O Allah, bless him for me, O You the Most Merciful of the merciful!
اللهمَّ اغفرْ له، أو ارحمه، أو الطفْ به، ونحو ذلك.
O Allah, forgive him, or have mercy on him, or ease his state, or whatever is similar to that.
اللهم اجعله لنا سلفا وفرطا وأجرا، قال الحافظ في الفتح: وصله = (*)
O Allah, make him [or her] for us a forerunner, an advance, and a reward.
اللهم اجعله لنا سلفا، وفرطا، وأجرا.(١) ولذلك يستحب طويل الدعاء بعد التكبيرة الرابعة لثبوت ذلك من فعله صلى الله عليه وسلم.انظر البيهقي ٤ / ٣٥.(٢) قال ابن علاّن في شرح الأذكار: قال الحافظ بعد تخريجه: حديث غريب أخرجه ابن المنذر والطحاوي والحاكم والبيهقي، قال الحاكم: إنه حديث صحيح، قال الحافظ: وليس كما قال، فإن ومداره على إبراهيم بن مسلم الهجري، وهو ضعيف عند جميع الأئمة لم نجد فيه توثيقا لأحد إلا قول الأزدي: صدوق، والأزدي ضعيف، واعتذر الحاكم بعد تخريجه بقوله: لم ينقم عليه بحجه، وهذا لا يكفي في التصحيح.(*)
O Allah, make him (this deceased) for us a forerunner, an advance (in reward), and a recompense.
اللهمّ أوصلْ ثوابَ ما قرأته إلى فلان، والله أعلم.
O Allah, convey the reward of what I have read to so-and-so. And Allah knows best.
اللهم صيبا هَنِيئاً " (١) .
O Allah, make it a beneficial and blessed rain!
اللهمّ إني نويت الحجّ فأعنّي عليه وتقبله مني، ويلبّي فيقول:
Labbayka Llāhumma labbayk
اللهم الحج أردت، وإليه عمدت، فإن يسر ته لي فهو الحج.(١) قال الحافظ: ما ذكره الشيخ - يعني النووي - عن سُليم بن أيوب وغيره لم أر له سلفا.(*)
O Allah, I intend to perform the Hajj and am setting out for it. If You make it easy for me, then it will be the Hajj.
اللهم البلد بلدك، والبيت بيتك، جئت أطلب رحمتك، وألزم طاعتك، متبعا لأمرك، راضيا بقدرك، مستسلما لأمرك، أسألك مسألة المضطر إليك، المشفق من عذابك، خائفا لعقوبتك، أن تستقبلني بعفوك، وأن تتجاوز عني برحمتك، وأن تدخلني جنتك " قال ابن علاّن: قال الحافظ: ولم يسنده الماوردي ولا وجدته موصولا ولا الذي قبله، وجعفر هذا هو الصادق، وأبوه محمد هو باقر، وأما جده، فإن كان الضمير لمحمد، فهو حسين بن علي، ويحتمل أن يريد أباه علي بن أبي طالب لأنه جد الأعلي، وعلى الأول يكون مرسلا، وقد وجدت في " مسندالفردوس " من حديث ابن مسعود قال: لما طاف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالبيت وضعُ يده على الكعبة فقال: اللَّهُمَّ البَيْتُ بَيْتُك، ونحن عبيدك، نواصيا بيدك ... فذكره حديثا، وسنده ضعيف.(٢) قال ابن علاّن في شرح الأذكار: قال الحافظ: ذكره الشافعي وأسنده إليه البيهقي في " الكبير " وفي " المعرفة "، ولم يذكر سند الشافعي به، وسيأتي في القول في الرمل بين الصفا والمروة نحوه.(*)
O Allah, this city is Your city, and this House is Your House. I come seeking Your mercy, committing myself to Your obedience, following Your command, accepting Your decree, and submitting to Your order. I ask You—as one in distress turns to You, fearing Your punishment and dreading Your retribution—to receive me with Your forgiveness, overlook my faults through Your mercy, and admit me into Your Paradise.
اللهم آتنا في الدنيا حسنة، وفي الآخرة حسنة و، قنا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ".
O Allah, grant us good in this world, good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
اللهم إني أسألك فواتح الخير، وخواتمه وجوامعه، وأوله وآخره، وظاهره وباطنه، والدرجات العلى من الجنة " قال الحافظ بعد تخريجه: هذا حديث حسن غريب، أخرجه الحاكم مفرقا في موضعين وقال ; صحيح الإسناد.(*)
O Allah, I ask You for the beginnings of good, its ends, its gathered elements, its start and its conclusion, its outward and its inward, as well as the lofty degrees of Paradise.
رَبَّنَا آتِنا فِي الدُّنْيا حَسَضنَةً وفي الآخِرةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنا عَذاب النَّارِ) .
O our Lord! Grant us a goodly portion in this world, and a goodly portion in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
اللهم إنا نجعلك في نحورهم، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ " ويُستحبّ أن يدعوَ معه بدعاء الكرْب وغيره مما ذكرناه معه.
O Allah, we place You before their chests (to repel them), and we seek refuge in You from their evil.
اللهم رب السموات السبع وما أضلت، فذكر مثل هذا الحديث الماضي أولا، لكن بالإفراد فيها، وزاد: ورب الجبال، أسألُكَ خَيْرَ هَذَا المنزل وخير ما فيه، وأعوذ بك من شر هذا المنزل، وشر ما فيه، اللهم ارزقنا جناه واصرف عنا وباه، وأعطنا رضاه، وحببنا إلى أهله وحبب أهله إلينا، وفي سنده ضعف، لكن توبع فرواه مبارك بن حسان عن نافع، عن ابن عمر، وفي مبارك أيضا مقال، لكن يعضد بعض هذه الطر بعضا.(٢) ورواه أيضاً أحمد في المسند، وهو جزء من حديث طويل، من رواية الحسن البصري عن جابر، والجسن لم يسمع من جابر عن الأكثر، ورواه أيضا البرار من الرواية الحسن عن سعد، ولا يعلم للحسن سماع منسعد، ورواه الطبراني عن أبي هريرة، وفي سنده عدي بن الفضل وهو متروك.(*)
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all that they shade, Lord of the mountains, I ask You for the good of this dwelling and the good it contains, And I seek refuge in You from the evil of this dwelling and the evil it contains. O Allah, grant us its fruits (blessings), avert from us its trials, Grant us satisfaction in its stay, Make us love its inhabitants and that they love us.
اللهمّ إن كان عبدُك هذا كاذباً قام رياءً وسمعةً فأطلْ عمرَه (١) ، وأطلْ فقرَه، وعرّضْه للفتن، فكانَ بعد ذلك يقول: شيخ مفتون أصابتني دعوة سعد ".
I am a tested shaykh; the curse of Saʿd has befallen me.
اللهمّ إن كانت كاذبة فأعم بصرها واقتلْها في أرضها، قال: فما ماتتْ حتى ذهبَ بصرُها، وبينما هي تمشي في أرضها إذ وقعتْ في حفرة فماتت.
O Allah, if she lies, then blind her sight and cause her to die on her land.
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ مائَةَ مَرَّةِ " (٥) .
I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, a hundred times each day.
اللهم فَقِّهْهُ في الدِّينِ وعلمه التأويل " وهو حديث صحيح.(*)
O Allah, grant him deep understanding of the religion and teach him the interpretation of the Qur’an.
اللهم العن فلانة الممتنعة من فراش زوجها، أو هذه الممتنعة إلى آخرها، فهي معينة بالاسم أو بالاشارة إليها، فيتجة ما قاله البلقيني، لان قوله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) " لعنتها " الضمير يخصها، فلا بدّ من صفة تميزها، وذلك إمام بالاسم أو بالاشارة إليها.(٢) أي لئلا ترجع اللعنة على قائلها إذا كان المدعو عليه بها ليس مستحقا لهاكما جاءت الاخبار به.(٣) قال ابن علاّن في " شرح الاذكار ": محمول على أنه اضطر لركوبها، لخبر مسلم عن جابر قال: قال (صلى الله عليه وسلم) لما (*) =
O Allah, curse [So-and-so] who refuses to share the bed of her husband. Let her be cursed. […]
اللهمَّ أجِرْنا من النار ولا يقل: اللهمْ ارزقنا شفاعةَ النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) فإنما يُشفعُ لمن استوجبَ النار.
O Allah, protect us from the Fire.
اللهم إني أعوذ بك مِنَ العَجْزِ، وَالكَسَلِ، وَالجُبْنِ، وَالبُخْلِ، وَالهَمِّ وَعَذَابِ القَبْرِ، اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاها، وَزَكِّها أنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاها، أنْتَ وَلِيُّها وَمَوْلاها، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لا يَخْشَعُ، وَمنْ نَفْسٍ لا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا ".
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, distress, and the punishment of the grave. O Allah, grant my soul its piety and purify it, for You are the Best of those who purify it. You are its Protector and its Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that is of no benefit, from a heart that does not humble itself, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from an invocation that is not answered.
اللهم إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ البَرَصِ وَالجُنُونِ والجذام وسيئ الأسْقامِ ".
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from leprosy, madness, leprosy [disease], and the worst of illnesses.
اللهم إني أعُوذُ بكَ منَ الشِّقاقِ وَالنِّفاقِ وَسُوءِ الأخْلاقِ ".
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from discord, hypocrisy, and evil character.
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ في اليوم مائة مَرَّةٍ ".
I seek forgiveness from Allah a hundred times a day.
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وأتُوبُ إلَيهِ فِي اليَوْمِ أكثَرَ مِن سبعين مرة ".
I ask Allah’s forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاهْدِني وَارْزُقْنِي ".
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, and grant me provision.
اللَّهُمَ أَحْيا وأمُوتُ، وإذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ قالَ: الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذي أحْيانا بَعْدَما أماتَنا وإلَيْهِ النشور ".
“O Allah, I live and I die.” And upon waking, he said, “Praise be to Allah who has given us life after having caused us to die, and to Him is the return.”
اللَّهُمَّ إِني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ ضِيقِ الدنيا وضِيقِ يَوْمِ القِيامَة عَشْراً ثُمَّ يَفْتَتِحُ الصَّلاة " وقولها هبَّ: أي استيقظ.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the narrowness of this world and the narrowness of the Day of Resurrection.
اللَّهُمَّ أسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذَنْبِي، وأسألُكَ رَحْمَتَكَ، اللَّهُمَّ زِدْنِي عِلْماً ولا تزغ قلبي بعد إذ هديتني، وَهَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إنَّكَ أنت الوهاب ".
O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for my sin, I ask You for Your mercy. O Allah, increase me in knowledge and do not let my heart deviate after You have guided me. Grant me, from You, a mercy, for You are the Bestower par excellence.
اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ منْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْر مَا هُوَلَهُ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّهِ وَشَرّ ما هُوَ لَه ".
O Allah, I ask You for its good and the good it contains, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil it contains.
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الحَمْدُ أنْتَ كَسَوْتِنِيهِ، أسألُكَ خَيْرَهُ وَخَيْرَ ما صُنِعَ لَهُ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرّ ما صُنِعَ لَهُ " حديث صحيح، رواه أبو داود سليمان بن الأشعث السجستاني، وأبو عيسى محمد بن عي
O Allah, all praise is Yours for clothing me. I ask You for its good and the good for which it was made, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil for which it was made.
اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أنْ أضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ، أوْ أزِلَّ،
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from straying or being led astray, from slipping or causing others to slip.
اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ ".
O Allah, I seek refuge in You.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أسألُكَ خَيْرَ المَوْلِجِ وَخَيْرَ المخرج، بسم الله ولجنا، وبسم اللَّهِ خَرَجْنا، وَعَلى اللَّهِ رَبِّنا تَوََكَّلْنا، ثُمَّ ليُسَلِّمْ على أهْلِهِ "، لم يُضَعِّفه أبو داود (١) .
O Allah, I ask You for the good of entering and the good of exiting. In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we exit, and in Allah, our Lord, we place our trust. Then, may he greet his family.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ، أنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهنَّ، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ، لَكَ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرضِ وَمَن فيهن، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ أنْت نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرْضِ ومَنْ فِيهنَّ
O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise. You are the Supporter of the heavens and the earth and all that they contain. To You belongs all praise, to You belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that they contain. To You belongs all praise, You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and all that they contain.
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وبِكَ خاصَمْتُ، وَإلَيْكَ حاكَمْتُ، فاغْفِرْ لي ما قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أعْلَنْتُ، أنْتَ المُقَد
O Allah, to You I submit, in You I believe, in You I place my trust, to You I repent, by You I strive, and to You I entrust my final reckoning. So forgive me my past and future sins, those I committed in secret and those I committed openly. You are the One who precedes...
اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الخُبْثِ وَالخَبَائث " يقال: الخبث بضم الباء وبسكونها، ولا يصحّ قول من أنكر الإِسكان.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils.
اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الخُبْثِ وَالخبائِثِ ".

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الرِّجس النَّجِسِ الخَبِيثِ المُخْبِثِ: الشَّيْطانِ الرجِيمِ " رواه ابن السني، ورواه الطبراني في كتاب الدعاء (١) .
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the foul and corrupt impurity, the accursed devil.
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَوَّابِينَ، واجْعَلْني مِنَ المُتَطَهِّرِينَ،
O Allah, make me among those who repent and among those who purify themselves.
اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ، أشْهَدُ أنْ لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، أسْتَغْفِرُكَ وأتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ ".
O Allah, by Your praise, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I ask Your forgiveness and repent to You.
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِن التَّوَّابِينَ واجْعَلْنِي مِنَ المُتَطَهِّرِينَ ".
O Allah, make me among those who repent and among those who purify themselves.
اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِك " إلى آخره: النسائي في " اليوم والليلة " وغيرُه بإسناد ضعيف (١) .
O Allah, by Your praise...
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ذَنْبِي، وَوَسِّعِ لي فِي داري، وَبارِكْ لي في رِزْقِي " فقلتُ: يا نبيّ الله سمعتك تدعو بكذا وكذا، قال: " وَهَلْ تركن من شئ؟ " ترجم ابن السني لهذا الحديث باب ما يقول بين ظهراني وضوئه وأما ا
O Allah, forgive me my sin, expand for me my dwelling, and bless me in my sustenance.
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ في قَلْبِي نُوراً، وفي لِسانِي نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ في سَمْعِي نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ في بَصَري نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ خَلْفِي نُوراً، وَمِنْ أمامي نُوراً، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقي نُوراً وَمِنْ تَحْتِي
O Allah, place in my heart a light, in my tongue a light, in my hearing a light, in my sight a light, place a light behind me, a light before me, a light above me, and a light below me.
اللَّهُمَّ أعْطِني نُوراً ".
O Allah, grant me a light.
اللَّهُمَّ بِحَقّ السَّائِلِينَ عَلَيْكَ، وَبِحَقّ مَخْرَجِي هَذَا فإني لَمْ أخْرُجْهُ أشَراً وَلاَ بَطراً وَلاَ رِياءً وَلاَ سُمْعَةً، خَرَجْتُ ابْتِغاءَ مَرْضَاتِكَ، وَاتِّقاءَ سَخَطِكَ، أسألُكَ أنْ تُعِيذَني
O Allah, by the right of those who supplicate to You and by the right of my presence here—for I have not come out of arrogance, nor pride, nor ostentation, nor desire for fame, but to seek Your pleasure and avoid Your wrath—I ask You to protect me.
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لي أبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَإذَا خَرَجَ فَلْيَقُلِ: اللَّهُمَّ إِني أسألُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ " رواه مسلم في " صحيحه " وأبو داود والنسائي وابن ماجه وغيرهم بأسانيد صحيحة، وليس في رواية مسلم: " فليسلم
O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy. And when he goes out, let him say, "O Allah, I ask You for Your bounty."
اللَّهُمَّ أعِذْنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطانِ الرَّجِيمِ " وروى هذه الزيادة ابن ماجه وابن
O Allah, protect me from the accursed devil.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ على مُحَمَّدٍ، وَإذَا خَرَجَ قالَ: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ على مُحَمَّدٍ ".
O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad. And when he goes out, let him say: "In the name of Allah. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad."
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي، وافْتَحْ لِي أبْوابَ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَإذَا خَرَجَ قالَ مِثْلَ ذلكَ، وقالَ: اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لي أبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ ".
O Allah, forgive me and open for me the gates of Your mercy. And when he goes out, let him say the same, then: "O Allah, open for me the gates of Your bounty."
اللَّهُمَّ إِني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ إِبْليسَ وجُنُودِهِ، فإنَّهُ إذَا قَالَها لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ " (١) .
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from Iblis and his legions, for when he utters these words, nothing will harm him.
اللَّهُمَّ ربَّ هذه الدعوة التامة، والصلاة القائمة، آت محمدا الوسيلة والفضيلة، وابعثْه مقاماً محموداً الذي وعدته. ثم يدعو بما شاء من أمور الآخرة والدنيا.
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the prayer that is about to be established, grant Muhammad the wasîla (the highest degree in Paradise) and the fadîla (excellence), and raise him to the praised station You have promised him.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبِّ هَذهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ والصلاة القائمة، آت محمدا الوسيلة والفَضِيلَةَ، وابْعَثْهُ مَقاماً محموداً الذي وَعَدْتَهُ، حَلَّتْ لَهُ شَفاعَتِي يَوْمَ القِيامَةِ " رواه البخاري في " صحيحه ".
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the prayer that is about to be established, grant Muhammad the wasîla and the fadîla, and raise him to the praised station You have promised him. Thus, my intercession will be permitted for him on the Day of Resurrection. (
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنا مُفْلِحِين " (١) .
O Allah, make us among the triumphant.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبّ جِبْرِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ وَمِيكائِيلَ ومُحَمَّدٍ النَّبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ ثَلاثَ مَرَّاتٍ " (٣) .
O Allah, Lord of Jibrîl, Isrâfîl, Mîkâ’îl, and the Prophet Muḥammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him), I seek refuge in You from the Fire, three times.
أسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذي لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الحَيَّ القَيُّومَ وأتوب إليه ثَلاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، غَفَرَ اللَّهُ تَعالى ذُنُوبَهُ وَلَوْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زبد البحر ".
I seek forgiveness from Allah, besides whom there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. I repent to Him three times. May Allah the Most High forgive his sins, even if they were like the foam of the sea.
اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ المَلكُ، لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ أَنْتَ رَبِّي وأنا عَبْدُكَ، ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي واعْتَرَفْتُ بِذَنْبِي فاغْفِرْ لي ذُنُوبِي جميعا لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، وَاهْدِني لأحْسَنِ الأخْلاقِ،
O Allah, You are the Sovereign. There is no god but You. You are my Lord, and I am Your servant. I have wronged myself and acknowledged my sin. So forgive me all my sins, for none forgives sins except You. Guide me to the best of characters.
اللَّهُمَّ باعِد بَيْني وبَيْنَ خَطايايَ كما بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ المَشْرِقِ وَالمَغْرِبِ، اللَّهُمَّ
O Allah, distance between me and my sins as You have distanced the East from the West. O Allah…
اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِي مِنْ خَطايايَ بالثَّلْجِ وَالمَاءِ وَالبَرَدِ ".
O Allah, purify me from my sins with snow, water, and hail.
اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ، وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعالى جَدُّكَ، وَلاَ إلهَ غَيْرُكَ " رواه الترمذي وأبو داود وابن ماجه بأسانيد ضعيفة، وضعّفه أبو داود والترمذي والبيهقي وغيرهم، ورواه أبو داود والترمذي والنسائي واب
O Allah, to You belongs all praise. Blessed is Your Name, exalted is Your Majesty, and there is no god but You.
اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ " عن ابن مسعود مرفوعاً، وعن أنس مرفوعاً، وكلها ضعيفة (١) .
O Allah, to You belongs all praise.
اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ، تَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وتعالى جدك، ولا إله غيرك " (٢) . والله أعلم.
O Allah, to You belongs all praise. Blessed is Your Name, exalted is Your Majesty, and there is no god but You.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنا وبِحَمْدِكَ، اللهم اغفر لي ".
O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise. O Allah, forgive me.

O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise, as much as fills the heavens and the earth, and as much as You will of all things besides. You are worthy of praise and glory. What the servant says is most true, and we are all Your servants. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold.
رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ حَمْداً كَثِيراً طَيِّباً مُبارَكاً فِيهِ، مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ، وَمِلْءَ الأرْضِ، وَمِلْءَ ما بَيْنَهُما، وَمِلْءَ ما شِئْتَ مِنْ شئ بَعْدُ، أهْلَ الثَّناءِ والمجد، أحق ما قَالَ العَبْدُ
Our Lord, to You belongs all praise—abundant, pure, and blessed praise—filling the heavens, the earth, what lies between them, and whatever else You will after that. You are worthy of all praise and glory. What the servant says is most true.
رَبَّنا لَكَ الحَمْدُ ".
Our Lord, to You belongs all praise.
رَبَّنا لكَ الحَمْدُ، مِلْءَ السَّمَواتِ وَمِلْءَ الأرْضِ وَمِلْءَ ما شئت من شئ بَعْدُ ".
Our Lord, to You belongs all praise, as much as fills the heavens and the earth, and as much as You will of all things besides.
رَبَّنَا لَكَ الحَمْدُ، مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأرْضِ، وَمِلْءَ ما شِئْتَ من شئ بَعْدُ، أهْلَ الثَّناءِ والمجد، أحق ما قالَ العَبْدُ، وكُلُّنا لَكَ عَبْدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ لا مانِعَ لِمَا أعطيت، ولا معطي لِمَا مَنَ

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، ولَكَ أسْلَمْتُ، سَجَدَ وَجْهِي للَّذي خَلَقَهُ وَصَوَّرَهُ، وَشَقّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ، تبارَكَ اللَّهُ أحْسَنُ الخالِقين ".
O Allah, to You I prostrate, in You I believe, and to You I submit. My face prostrates before He who created it, gave it its form, and granted it hearing and sight. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators.
اللَّهُمَّ أعُوذُ بِرضَاكَ مِنْ سَخطِكَ، وبِمُعافاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكُ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لا أُحْصِي ثَناءً عَلَيْكَ، أنْتَ كمَا أثْنَيْتَ على نَفْسِكَ ".
O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure against Your wrath, in Your forgiveness against Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You against myself. I could never praise You as You have praised Yourself.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ، وأوّلَهُ وآخِرَهُ، وَعَلانِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّه " دِقه وجِلّه: بكسر أولهما، ومعناه: قليله وكثيره.
O Allah, forgive me all my sins, small and great, first and last, open and hidden.
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْها لي عِنْدَكَ ذُخْراً، وأعْظِمْ لي بِهَا أجْراً، وَضَعْ عَنِّي بِها وِزْراً،
O Allah, make it for me a treasure with You, increase for me its reward, and lighten by it my burden.
اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِني فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ، وعَافِني
O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, and grant me sound health.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلّ على مُحَمَّدٍ، وعلى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّم "، فقد جاء في رواية النسائي في هذا الحديث بإسناد حسن (٣) : " وَصَلَى اللَّهُ على النَّبِيّ ".
O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, and grant him peace.
اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَلاَ نَكْفُرُكَ، وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَخْلَعُ مَنْ يَفْجُرُكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إيَّاكَ نَعْبُد، ولَكَ نُصَلِّي وَنَسْجُد، وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعَى وَنحْفِدُ، نَرْجُو رَحْمَتَك
O Allah, we ask You for help and Your forgiveness. We do not deny You; we believe in You and disavow those who disobey You. O Allah, it is You alone we worship, for You we pray and prostrate, to You we hasten and strive, we hope for Your mercy.
اللَّهُمَّ عَذّبِ الكَفَرَةَ الَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ، ويُكَذِّبُونَ رُسُلَكَ، وَيُقاتِلُونَ أوْلِيَاءَكَ.
O Allah, punish the disbelievers who turn others away from Your path, who deny Your messengers, and who fight against Your allies.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ للْمُؤْمِنِينَ والمؤمنات والمسلمين والمُسْلِماتِ، وأصْلِح ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ، وأَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ، وَاجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِهِم الإِيمَانَ وَالحِكْمَةَ، وَثَبِّتْهُمْ على مِلَّةِ رسولِك صلى
O Allah, forgive the believing men and women, the Muslim men and women. Reform their relations, unite their hearts, place in their hearts faith and wisdom, and strengthen them upon the religion of Your Messenger (peace and blessings upon him).
رَبَّنا وَتَعالَيْتَ ".
O our Lord, You are the Most High
اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ، وَأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ المَسيحِ الدَّجَّال، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ المَحْيا والمَماتِ، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ من المأثمِ والمَغْرَمِ ".
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, from the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal), from the trials of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and from debt.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ما قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، وَمَا أسْرَفْتُ، وَمَا أنْتَ أعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، أنْتَ المُقَدِّمُ وأنْتَ المُؤَخِّرُ، لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ ".
O Allah, forgive me for what I have done in advance and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have revealed, what I have exaggerated and what You know better than I. You are the One who advances and the One who delays; there is no god but You.
اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْماً كَثِيراً، وَلا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، فاغْفِرْ لي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْني إنَّكَ أنْتَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ " هكذا ضبطناه: " ظُلْماً كَثِيراً "
O Allah, I have wronged my soul greatly. None forgives sins except You. Forgive me with a forgiveness from You and have mercy on me, for You are the Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ السَّلامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلامُ، تَبارَكْتَ يا ذَا الجَلالِ وَالإِكْرامِ ".
O Allah, You are the Peace, and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Generosity.
اللَّهُمَّ لا مانِعَ لِمَا أعْطَيْتَ، وَلاَ معطي لما مَنَعْتَ، وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذا الجد مِنْكَ الجَدُّ ".
O Allah, none can withhold what You have given, and none can give what You have withheld. Wealth does not benefit its possessor in Your sight.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الجُبْنِ، وَأعُوذُ بِكَ أنْ أُرَدَّ إلى أَرْذَلِ العمُرِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فتْنَةِ الدُّنْيا وأعُوذُ بِكَ منْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ ".
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from cowardice, I seek refuge in You from returning to a wretched old age, I seek refuge in You from the temptations of this world, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave.
اللَّهُمَّ أعِنِّي على ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبادَتِكَ ".
O Allah, help me to mention You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner.
اللَّهُمَّ أذْهِبْ عَنِّي الهَمَّ والحزنَ " (٣) .
O Allah, distance from me worry and sorrow.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ذُنُوبي وَخَطايايَ كُلَّها، اللَّهُمَّ انْعِشْنِي واجْبُرْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي لِصَالِح الأعْمالِ وَالأخْلاقِ، إنَّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي لِصَالِحها وَلاَ يَصْرِفُ سَيِّئَها إِلاَّ أَنْتَ ".
O Allah, forgive me all my sins and my faults. O Allah, give me life, support me, guide me to good deeds and good character, for none guides to their good nor averts their evil except You.
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ عُمُرِي آخِرَهُ، وَخَيْرَ عَمَلِي خَواتِمَهُ، وَاجْعَلْ خَيْرَ أَيَّامي يَوْمَ ألْقاكَ " (١) .
O Allah, make the best part of my life its end, make the best of my deeds their conclusions, and make the best of my days the day I meet You.
اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الكُفْرِ وَالفَقْرِ وَعَذَابِ القَبْرِ " (٢) .
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief, poverty, and the punishment of the grave.
اللَّهُمَّ أجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ، فإنَّكَ إذَا قُلْتَ ذلكَ ثُمَّ مُتَّ مِنْ لَيْلَتِكَ كُتِبَ لَكَ جِوَارٌ مِنْها، وإذَا صَلَّيْتَ الصُّبْحَ فَقُلْ كذَلِكَ، فإنَّكَ إنْ مُتَّ مِنْ يَوْمِكَ كُتِب
O Allah, protect me from the Fire seven times. If you say this and then die during your night, protection against it is recorded for you. And if you pray Fajr, say the same, for if you die during your day, it is recorded...
اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ عِلْماً نافِعاً، وعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً، وَرِزْقاً طَيِّباً " (٤) .
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, accepted deeds, and lawful sustenance.
اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أُحاوِلُ، وَبِكَ أُصَاوِلُ، وَبِكَ أُقاتِلُ " (٧) والأحاديثُ بمعنى ما ذكرته كثيرة، وسيأتي في الباب الآتي من بيان الأذكار التي تقال في أوّل النهار ما تقرّ به العيون إن شاء الله تعالى.
O Allah, it is by You that I begin, by You that I strive, and by You that I struggle.
اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وأنا عَبْدُكَ وأنا على عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ ما اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأبُوءُ بِذَنبي فاغْف
O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You have created me, and I am Your servant. I am faithful to my covenant with You and to Your promise as much as I am able. اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أصْبَحْنا وَبِكَ أمْسَيْنا، وَبِكَ نَحْيا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ " وإذا أمسى قال: " اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أمْسَيْنا، وَبِكَ نَحْيا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ " قال الترمذي: ح
O Allah, by You we enter the morning, by You we enter the evening, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the resurrection. (And when he enters the evening, he says: "O Allah, by You we enter the evening, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.")
رَبَّنا صَاحِبْنا (١) ، وأفْضِلْ عَلَيْنا، عائِذاً (٢) باللَّهِ منَ النَّارِ ".
O our Lord, accompany us, grant us Your favor, as we seek refuge in Allah from the Fire.
اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرض، عالم الغيب وَالشَّهَادَةِ رَبَّ كُلِّ شئ ومليكه، أشْهَدُ أنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، أعوذ بك من شر نفسي وَشَرِّ الشَّيْطانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، قالَ: قُلْها إذَا أصْبَحْتَ وَإذَا أ
O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord and Master of all things, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, from the evil of Satan and his associates. Say this in the morning and in the evening.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ وأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَمَلائِكَتَكَ وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ أنَّكَ أنتَ الله الذي لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، وأنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ، أعْتَقَ اللَّهُ رُبُعَهُ م
O Allah, this morning I take You as a witness, along with the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels, and all of Your creation, that You are Allah—there is no god but You—and that Muhammad is Your servant and Your Messenger.
اللَّهُمَّ ما أصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، لَكَ الحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ، فَقَدْ أدَّى شُكْرَ يَوْمِهِ ; وَمَنْ قَالَ مِثْلَ ذلكَ حِينَ يُمْسِي فَقَد أدَّى شُكْرَ لَيلَتِهِ " (٤)
O Allah, all grace that reaches me this morning comes from You alone, without associate. To You be praise and gratitude. Whoever says this in the morning has fulfilled his duty of gratitude for the day, and whoever says it in the evening has fulfilled it for the night.
اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ العافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا والآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ العَفْوَ وَالعَافِيَةَ في دِيني وَدُنْيَايَ وأهْلِي ومَالِي، اللَّهُمََّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي وآمِنْ رَوْعاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظ
O Allah, I ask You for security in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and security in my religion, my life in this world, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, cover my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me...
اللَّهُمَّ لا يُهْزَمُ جُنْدُكَ وَلا يخلف وعدك، ولا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجَدّ مِنْكَ الجَدُّ، سُبْحانَكَ وَبِحَمْدِكَ ".
O Allah, Your army is never defeated, Your promise never fails, and fortune does not benefit one who enjoys it in defiance of You. Glory to You, and to You be praise.
اللَّهُمَّ أسألُكَ خَيْرَ هَذَا اليَوْمِ فَتْحَهُ وَنَصْرَهُ وَنُورَهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ وَهُدَاهُ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَر ما فِيهِ وَشَرِّ ما بَعْدَهُ، ثُمَّ إذا أمْسَى فَلْيَقُلْ مِثْلَ ذلكَ ".
O Allah, I ask You for the good of this day: its opening, its victory, its light, its blessing, and its guidance. I seek refuge in You from the evil it contains and the evil that follows it. Say this in the morning, and in the evening, say the same.
اللَّهُمَّ عافِني فِي بَدَني، اللَّهُمَّ عافِنِي في سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عافِني في بَصَري، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الكُفْرِ وَالفَقْرِ، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذَ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبرِ، لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْ
O Allah, preserve my body. O Allah, preserve my hearing. O Allah, preserve my sight. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. There is no god but You.
اللَّهُمَّ إِني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الهَمّ والحُزن وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ العَجْزِ والكَسَلِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الجُبْنِ والبُخلِ، وأعوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرّجالِ ".
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the domination of men.
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ أَوَّلَ هَذَا النَّهارِ صَلاحاً، وَأَوْسَطَهُ نَجاحاً، وآخِرَهُ فَلاحاً، يا أَرْحَمَ
O Allah, make the beginning of this day a reformation, its middle a success, and its end a salvation, O Most Merciful.
اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ منْ فَجْأةِ الخَيْرِ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فَجأةِ الشَّرّ " (٣) .
O Allah, I ask You for the good that comes suddenly, and I seek refuge in You from the evil that comes suddenly.
اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ عِلْماً نافعاً، وَرِزْقاً طَيِّباً، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً " (٥) .
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, lawful sustenance, and accepted deeds.
اللَّهُمَّ إني أصْبَحُتُ منْكَ في نِعْمَةٍ وَعافِيَةٍ وَسَتْرٍ، فأتِمَّ نِعْمَتَكَ عَليَّ وَعَافِيَتَكَ وَسَتْرَكَ فِي الدُّنْيا والآخِرَةِ ثَلاثَ مَرَّاتٍ إِذَا أصْبَحَ وَإِذَا أَمْسَى، كان حَقّاً على اللَّهِ ت
O Allah, this morning I am under Your grace, Your protection, and Your covering. Perfect Your grace, Your protection, and Your covering over me in this world and the Hereafter. (To be said three times in the morning and evening.)
اللَّهُمَّ إِني قَدْ وَهَبْتُ نَفْسِي وَعِرْضِي لَكَ، فَلا يَشْتُمُ مَنْ شَتَمَهُ وَلاَ يَظْلِمُ مَنْ ظَلَمَهُ، وَلا يَضْرِبُ مَنْ ضَرَبَهُ ".
O Allah, I have offered my soul and my honor to You. Let not he who insults me be insulted, let not he who wrongs me be wronged, and let not he who strikes me be struck.
اللَّهُمَّ إِني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّ نَفْسِي، وَمِنْ شَرّ كُلّ دَابَّةٍ أنْتَ آخِذٌ بِناصِيَتها، إنَّ رَبِّي على صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ ".
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of every creature whose forelock You hold. Indeed, my Lord is on a straight path.
أسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذي لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الحَيَّ القَيُّومَ وأتوب إليه ثلاث مَرَّاتٍ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ ذُنُوبَهُ وَلَوْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ البَحْرِ " (١) .
I seek forgiveness from Allah. There is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. I repent to Him. (To be said three times; Allah will efface sins, even if they are like the foam of the sea.)
اللَّهُمَّ أصْبَحْتُ أشْهَدُ لَكَ بِما شَهِدْتَ بِهِ لِنَفْسِكَ، وَشَهِدَتْ بِهِ مَلائِكَتُكَ وحَمَلَةُ عَرْشِكَ وَجَمِيعُ خَلْقِكَ إنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ القائِمُ بالقِسْطِ، لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ
O Allah, this morning I bear witness to You as You have borne witness to Yourself, as have Your angels, the bearers of Your Throne, and all Your creatures: You are Allah, there is no god but You, the Self-Sufficient, the Establisher of Justice. There is no god but You.
اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ السَّلامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلامُ وَإِلَيْكَ السَّلامُ، أسألُكَ يا ذَا الجَلالِ والإِكْرَامِ أنْ تَسْتَجِيبَ لَنا دَعْوَتَنَا، وأنْ تُعْطِيَنَا رَغْبَتَنا، وأنْ تُغْنِينَا عَمَّنْ أغْنَيْتَهُ عَنَّا
O Allah, You are the Peace, from You comes peace and to You returns peace. I ask You, O Owner of Majesty and Generosity, to answer our supplication, grant us what we desire, and suffice us against those upon whom You have bestowed favor by leaving us behind.
اللَّهُمَّ أصْلحْ لي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أمْرِي، وأصْلِحْ لي دنياي التيي فِيها مَعِيشَتِي، وأصْلِحْ لي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي إلَيْها مُنْقَلَبِي ".
O Allah, improve my religion, which is the safeguard of my affairs, improve my life in this world where my sustenance lies, and improve my life to come, to which I shall return.
اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا إقْبالُ لَيْلِكَ وَإِدْبَارُ نَهارِكَ وأصْوَاتُ دُعاتِكَ فاغْفِرْ لي " (١) .
O Allah, here comes Your night and departs Your day, and the voices of Your servants who call upon You—so forgive me.
اللَّهُمَّ إني أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وأعُوذُ بِمُعافاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكُ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لا أُحْصِي ثَناءً عليك أنت كما أثنيت على نفسك " قال الترمذي: حديث حسن.
O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure against Your wrath, in Your forgiveness against Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You against myself. I cannot praise You as You have praised Yourself.
اللَّهُمَّ أحْيا وأمُوت ".
O Allah, grant me life and grant me death.
اللَّهُمَّ أسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أمْرِي إِلَيْكَ، وَألجأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ، رَغْبَةَ وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ لا ملجأ وَلا منجا مِنْكَ إِلاَّ إِليْكَ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتابِكَ الَّذي أنْزَلْتَ، وَنَبِيِ
O Allah, I submit to You, I entrust my affairs to Your hands and I place my reliance in You, out of desire and fear of You. There is no refuge or salvation from You except with You. I believe in Your Book that You revealed and in Your Prophet.
اللَّهُمَّ قِني عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبادَكَ ثَلاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ".
O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants. O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants. O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبَّ الأرْضِ وَرَبََّ العَرْشِ العَظِيمِ، رَبَّنا ورب كل شئ، فالِقَ الحَبّ وَالنَّوَى، مُنَزِّل التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنجِيلِ وَالقُرآنِ، أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّ كُلّ ذِي شَرٍّ أنْتَ آ
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and the Earth, Lord of the Mighty Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, You Who cause the seed and the kernel to sprout, You Who revealed the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran, I seek refuge in You from the evil of every harmful creature whose forelock You hold.
اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الكَرِيمِ وَكَلِماتِكَ التَّامَّة مِنْ شر ما أنت آخذ بناصيته، اللَّهُمّ أنْتَ تَكْشِفُ المَغْرَمَ والمَأثمَ، اللَّهُمَّ لا يُهْزَمُ جُنْدُكَ، وَلا يُخْلَفُ وَعْدُكَ، ولا ينفع ذا
O Allah, I seek refuge in Your generous Face and in Your perfect words against the evil of what You hold by the forelock. O Allah, You relieve debts and sins. O Allah, Your army is never defeated, Your promise is never broken, and the rich do not benefit...
اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ ".
O Allah, and by Your praise.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي ذَنْبِي، وأخسئ شَيْطانِي، وَفُكَّ رِهانِي، وَاجْعَلْنِي فِي النَّدِيّ الأعْلَى ".
O Allah, forgive me my sins, drive away my devil, release my pledge, and place me among the highest assembly.
رَبَّنا ورب كل شئ، فالِقَ الحَبّ وَالنَّوَى، مُنَزِّل التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنجِيلِ وَالقُرآنِ، أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّ كُلّ ذِي شَرٍّ أنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ، أنْتَ الأوَّلُ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شئ، وأنْتَ الآخِرُ
Our Lord, Lord of all things, Who causes the seed and the kernel to sprout, Who has revealed the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran, I seek refuge in You from the evil of every harmful creature whose forelock You hold. You are the First, there is nothing before You, and You are the Last...
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ كل شئ وَمَلِيكَهُ، وَإِلهَ كُلِّ شئ، أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ ".
O Allah, Lord of all things and Sovereign, God of all things, I seek refuge in You from the Fire.
أسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذي لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الحَيَّ القَيُّومَ وأتوب إليه ثَلاثَ مَرَّاتٍ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ تَعالى لَهُ ذنوبه وإن كانت مثل زبد البحر، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ عَدَدَ النُّجُومِ، وَإِنْ كانَتْ عَدَدَ رَمْلِ عالجٍ،
I seek forgiveness from Allah. There is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. I repent to Him. (to be repeated three times) May Allah the Most High forgive his sins, though they be as abundant as the foam of the sea, as numerous as the stars or the grains of sand...
اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ خَلَقْتَ نَفْسِي وأنْتَ تَتَوَفَّاها، لَكَ مَمَاتُها وَمَحْياها، إنْ أحْيَيْتَها فاحْفَظْها، وَإنْ أمَتَّها فاغْفِرْ لَهَا، اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أسألُكَ العافِيَةَ " قال ابن عمر: سمعتها من رسول الله
O Allah, You have created my soul and You will take it back. To You belong its death and its life. If You let it live, preserve it, and if You cause it to die, forgive it. O Allah, I ask You for good health.
اللَّهُمَّ فاطِرَ السَّمَوَاتِ والأرض، عالم الغيب وَالشَّهَادَةِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شئ ومليكه، أشْهَدُ أنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ أعوذ بك من شر نفسي وَشَرّ الشَّيْطانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، قُلْها إذَا أَصْبَحْتَ وَإذَا أَمْسَيْ
O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord and Master of all things, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, from the evil of Satan and his polytheism.
اللَّهُمَّ اخْتِمْ بِخَيْرٍ، فَقالَ الشَّيْطانُ: اخْتِمْ بِشَرّ، فإنْ ذَكَرَ اللَّهَ تَعالى ثُمَّ نامَ، باتَ المَلَكُ يَكْلَؤهُ " (٣) .
O Allah, grant me a good end. Satan says, "Grant him a bad end." But if he mentions Allah the Most High and then falls asleep, an angel watches over him.
اللَّهُمَّ باسْمِكَ رَبي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي فاغْفِرْ لي ذَنْبِي ".
O Allah, by Your Name, my Lord, I have laid down my side (to sleep), forgive me my sin.
اللَّهُمَّ أمْتِعْنِي بِسَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي، وَاجْعَلْهُما الوَارِثَ مِنِّي، وَانْصُرْنِي على عَدُوِّي وَأرِنِي ثَأْرِي، اللَّهُمَّ إني أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَمِنَ الجُوعِ فإنَّهُ بِئْسَ الضَّجِيعُ
O Allah, make me benefit from my hearing and my sight, make them my heirs. Grant me victory over my enemy and show me my vengeance. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and from hunger, for they are evil companions.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أسألُكَ رُؤْيا صَالِحَةً صَادِقَة غَيْرَ كاذِبَةً، نافِعَةً غَيْرَ ضَارَّةٍ.
O Allah, I ask You for a righteous, true, unfalse, beneficial dream, not harmful.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفرْ لي أوْ دَعا، اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ، فإنْ
O Allah, forgive me, or if he invokes, his supplication is answered. For...
اللَّهُمَّ أسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذَنْبِي، وأسألُكَ رَحْمَتَكَ، اللَّهُمَّ زِدْنِي علما، ولا تزغ قلبي بعد إذ هديتني، وهب لي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إنك أنْتَ الوَهَّابُ " (١) .
O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness for my sin, and I ask You for Your mercy. O Allah, increase me in knowledge, do not let my heart deviate after You have guided me, and grant me from Yourself a mercy, for You are the Bestower par excellence.
اللَّهُمَّ وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي، وَبِكَ أرْفَعُهُ، إِنْ أمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فارْحَمْها، وَإِنْ رَدَدْتَها فاحْفَظْها بِما تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبادَكَ الصَّالِحين " قال الترمذي: حديث حسن.
O Allah, I have laid down my side [to sleep], and it is by You that I rise. If You take my soul, have mercy on it, and if You return it, preserve it as You preserve Your righteous servants.
اللَّهُمَّ غارَتِ النُّجُومُ وَهَدأتِ العُيُونُ وأنْتَ حَيُّ قَيُّومٌ لا تَأخُذُكَ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ، يا حيُّ يا قيوم أهدئ لَيْلي، وأنِمْ عَيْنِي، فقلتُها، فأذهب اللَّه عزّ وجلّ عني ما كنتُ أجد ".
O Allah, the stars have withdrawn, the eyes have settled, and You are the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting by Whom all subsist—neither slumber nor sleep overtakes You. O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, grant me peaceful rest in this night and let my eye sleep. I have said it, and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has removed from me what I was feeling.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَما أظَلَّتْ، وَرَبَّ الأَرضينَ وَمَا أقَلَّتْ، وَرَبَّ الشَّياطِينِ وَمَا أضَلَّتْ، كُنْ لي جارا من شر خَلْقِكَ كُلِّهِمْ جَمِيعاً أنْ يَفْرطَ عليّ أحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ أو أنْ
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all that they shade, Lord of the earths and all that they bear, Lord of the jinn and those they lead astray, be my protector against the evil of all Your creatures, so that none of them may harm me or overcome me.
اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وأسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأسألُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ العَظِيمِ، فإنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ ولا أَقْدِرُ، وَتَعْلَمُ وَلا أعْلَمُ، وأنْتَ عَلاَّمُ الغُيُوبِ، اللَّهُمَّ إنْ كُنْتَ
O Allah, I ask You to choose well for me through Your knowledge, and I ask You to grant me the ability through Your power. I ask You from Your immense grace, for You have the power and I do not, You know and I do not know, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter...
اللَّهُمَّ خِرْ لي وَاخْتَرْ لي ".
O Allah, choose for me and make the best choice for me.
اللَّهُمَّ آتِنا في الدُّنْيا حَسَنَةً، وفي الآخرة حسنة، وقنا عَذَابَ النَّارِ " زاد مسلم في روايته قال: وكان أنس إذا أرادَ أن يدعوَ بدعوة دعا بها، فإذا أرادَ أن يدعوَ بدعاء دعا بها فيه.
O Allah, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أرْجُو فَلا تَكِلْنِي إلى نَفْسي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ، وأصْلِحْ لي شَأنِي كُلَّهُ، لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ ".
O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for; do not entrust me to myself, not even for the blink of an eye, and improve all my affairs. There is no god but You.
اللَّهُمَّ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، فِي قَبْضَتِكَ، ناصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، ماضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أسألُكَ بِكُلّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أوْ أنْزَلْتَه
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand, Your decree applies to me, and Your judgment is just concerning me. I ask You by every name that belongs to You—by which You have named Yourself or revealed...
اللَّهُمَّ إنا نجعلك في نُحُورِهِمْ، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شرورهم ".
O Allah, we place You before their chests and seek refuge in You from their evil.
أعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ، ثم قال: ألْعَنُك بِلَعْنَةِ اللَّهِ ثَلاثاً، وبسطَ يدَه كأنَّه يتناول شيئاً، فلما فرغَ من الصلاة قلنا: يا رسول الله سمعناك تقول في الصلاة شيئاً لم نسمعْكَ تقولُه قبلَ ذلك، ورأيناكَ بسطتَ يدَكَ
I seek refuge with Allah from you.
اللَّهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إِلاَّ ما جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وأنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الحَزْنَ إذَا شئت سهلا " (٤) .
O Allah, nothing is easy unless You make it easy, and You make hardship easy when You will.
اللَّهُمَّ رضّنِي بِقَضائِك، وباركْ لي فِيما قُدّرَ لي حتَّى لا أُحِبَّ تَعْجِيلَ ما أخَّرْتَ ولا تأخيرَ ما عَجَّلْتَ " (١) .
O Allah, make me content with Your decree, bless me in what You have destined for me, so that I neither love to hasten what You have delayed, nor delay what You have hastened.
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِني بِحَلالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأغْنِني
O Allah, preserve me through what is lawful from what is unlawful, and enrich me by Your grace so that I need no one but You.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أذْهِبِ البأسَ (٧) ، اشْفِ أنْتَ الشَّافِي، لا شِفاءَ إِلاَّ شِفاؤُكَ شِفاءً لا يغادر سقما ".
O Allah, Lord of mankind, avert evil, grant healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healing but Yours, a healing that leaves no disease.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، مُذْهِبَ البأسِ، اشْفِ أنْتَ الشَّافِي، لا شافِيَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، شِفاءً لا يُغادِرُ سَقَماً ".
O Allah, Lord of mankind, the One who averts harm, grant healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healer but You, a healing that leaves no illness.
اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ سَعْداً، اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ سَعْداً، اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ سَعْداً ".
O Allah, grant healing to Sa'd. O Allah, grant healing to Sa'd. O Allah, grant healing to Sa'd.
اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ عَبْدَكَ يَنْكأ لَكَ عَدُوّاً، أوْ يَمْشي لَكَ إلى صَلاةٍ "، لم يُضَعِّفه أبو داود (٤) .
O Allah, heal Your servant so that he may harm an enemy for You or walk toward a prayer.
اللَّهُمَّ عافِهِ - أو اشْفِهِ - " شك شعبة، قال: فما اشتكيتُ وجعي بعدُ.
O Allah, grant him health—or heal him.
اللَّهُمَّ أحْيِني ما كانَتِ الحَياةُ خَيْراً لي، وَتَوَفَّنِي إذَا كَانَتِ الوَفاةُ خَيْراً لِي ".
O Allah, grant me life so long as life is good for me, and cause me to die when death is good for me.
اللَّهُمَّ أعِنِّي على غَمَرَاتِ المَوْتِ، وَسَكَرَاتِ المَوْتِ " (١) .
O Allah, help me against the agonies of death and the throes of death.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وألحِقْني بالرَّفِيقِ الأعْلَى ".
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, and join me with the most exalted company.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي وَلَهُ، وَأعْقِبْنِي مِنْهُ عُقْبَى حَسَنَةً، فقلت ذلك، فأعقبني الله مَن هو خيرٌ لي منه: محمداً صلى الله عليه وسلم.
O Allah, forgive me and him, and grant me after him a better outcome. I said it, and Allah then gave me someone better than him: Muhammad (ﷺ).
اللَّهُمَّ أجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتي، وأخْلِفْ لي خَيْراً مِنْها، إلاَّ أَجَرَهُ اللَّهُ تَعالى في مُصِيبَتِهِ وأخْلَفَ لَهُ خَيْراً مِنْها "، قالت: فلما توفي أبو سلمة، قلت كما أمرني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ف
O Allah, preserve me in my hardship and replace it with something better. Allah the Most High preserved him in his hardship and granted him in return something better.
اللَّهُمَّ عِنْدَكَ أحْتَسِبُ مُصِيبَتِي فأْجُرْنِي فِيها، وأبْدِلْنِي بِها خَيْراً مِنها ".
O Allah, I place my trial before You; grant me a reward for it and replace it with something better.
اللَّهُمَّ اكْتُبْهُ عِنْدَكَ فِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ، وَاجْعَلْ كِتابَهُ فِي عِلِّيِّينَ، وَاخْلُفْهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ فِي الغابِرِينَ، وَلا تَحْرِمْنا أجْرَهُ وَلاَ تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَهُ " (١) .
O Allah, record him among the righteous in Your presence, place his book in the highest ranks, and replace him among his people for those who remain. Do not deprive us of his reward, nor test us after him.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلّ على مُحَمَّدٍ.
O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، وَارْحَمْهُ، وَعافِهِ، وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وأكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بالمَاءِ والثَّلْجِ وَالبَرَدِ، ونَقِّهِ منَ الخَطايا كما نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الأبْيَضَ مِنَ ا
O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, protect him, forgive him, honor his reception, expand his entry, wash him with water, snow, and hail, and purify him of his sins as You have purified the white garment of all impurity.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنا وَمَيِّتِنا، وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرنا، وَذَكَرِنا وأُنْثانا، وشَاهِدِنا وغائِبِنا، اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أحْيَيْتَه مِنَّا فأحْيِهِ على الإِسْلامِ، وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ ع
O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our young and our old, our men and our women, those who are present and those who are absent. O Allah, grant that those of us whom You keep alive be guided by Islam, and those whom You cause to die be granted death in faith.
اللَّهُمَّ لا تَحْرِمْنا أجْرَهُ وَلاَ تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَهُ ".
O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not test us after him.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنا وَمَيِّتِنا "، رواية أبي إبراهيم الأشهلي عن أبيه.
O Allah, forgive our living and our dead.
اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ رَبُّهَا، وأنْتَ خَلَقْتَها، وأنْتَ هَدَيْتَهَا للإِسْلام، وأنْتَ
O Allah, You are its Lord, You created it, You guided it to Islam, and You...
اللَّهُمَّ إنَّ فُلانَ بن فُلانَة فِي ذِمَّتِكَ وحبل جوارك، فَقِهِ فِتْنَةَ القَبْر وَعَذَاب النَّارِ، وأنْتَ أهْلُ الوَفاءِ وَالحَمْدِ فاغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ إنَّكَ أنْتَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ " (٣) .
O Allah, So-and-so son of So-and-so is under Your protection and Your covenant of security. Protect him from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the Fire. You are worthy of loyalty and praise; forgive him and have mercy on him, for You are the Forgiver, the Most Merciful.
اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا عَبْدُكَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، خَرَجَ مِنْ رَوْحِ الدُّنْيا وسعتها، ومحبوبه وأحبائه فيها، إلى ظُلْمَةِ القَبْرِ ومَا هُوَ لاقيهِ، كانَ يَشْهَدُ أنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، وأنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُكَ وَر
O Allah, here is Your servant, son of Your servant, who has left behind the comfort of this world, its expanse, its beloved ones, and those he loved, for the darkness of the grave and what he will face there. He bore witness that there is no god but You and that Muhammad is Your servant and Your Messenger...
اللَّهُمَّ إنَّهُ نَزَلَ بِكَ وأنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْزُولٍ به، وأصْبَحَ فَقيراً إلى رَحْمَتِكَ، وأنْتَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِهِ، وَقَدْ جِئْنَاكَ رَاغِبِينَ إليك، شُفَعَاءَ لَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ إنْ كَانَ مُحْسِناً فَزِدْ ف
O Allah, he has sought refuge in You, and You are the Best of those to whom one seeks refuge. He has become poor in Your mercy, and You have no need to punish him. We come to You, imploring, interceding for him. O Allah, if he was righteous, increase his good deeds...
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ لَهُما فَرَطاً، واجْعَلْهُ لَهُما سَلَفاً، واجْعَلْهُ لَهُما ذُخْراً (٥) ، وَثَقِّلْ بِهِ مَوَازِينَهُما، وأفرغ الصبر على
O Allah, make him a forerunner for them, a pioneer and a reserve. Weigh down their scales with him and pour upon them patience...
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنا وَمَيِّتِنا ... " إلى آخره.
O Allah, forgive our living and our dead...
اللَّهُمَّ هَذِهِ أَمَتُكَ "، ثم يُنَسِّقُ الكلام، والله أعلم.
O Allah, here is Your community...
اللَّهُمَّ لاَ تَحْرِمْنا أجْرَهُ وَلا تَفْتِنّا بَعْدَهُ.
O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not test us after him.
رَبَّنا آتنا في الدُّنْيا حسنة، وفي الآخرة حسنة، وقنا عذاب النار) .
O our Lord, grant us a goodly portion in this world and a goodly portion in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
اللَّهُمَّ أسْلَمَهُ إلَيْكَ الأشحاء مِنْ أهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ، وَقَرابَتِهِ وَإِخْوَانِهِ، وَفَارَقَ مَنْ كَانَ يُحِبُّ قُرْبَهُ، وَخَرَجَ مِنْ سَعَةِ الدُّنْيا وَالحَياةِ إلى ظُلْمَةِ القَبْرِ وَضِيقِهِ، وَنَزَل
O Allah, entrust into Your hands the close ones of his family, his children, his parents, his brothers, those whose nearness he loved, who have left the comfort of this world and life for the darkness and constriction of the grave, and have descended into it.
اللَّهُمَّ اشْكُرْ حَسَنَتَهُ، وَاغْفِرْ سَيِّئَتَهُ، وأعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ، وَاجْمَعْ لَهُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الأمْنَ منْ عَذَابِكَ، واكْفِهِ كل هَوْلٍ دُونَ الجَنَّةِ، اللَّهُمَّ اخْلُفْهُ فِي تَرِكَتِهِ فِ
O Allah, reward his good deeds, forgive his sins, protect him from the punishment of the grave, grant him, by Your mercy, security from Your punishment, spare him all trials before Paradise. O Allah, be his successor for his heirs.
رَبَّنا اغْفِرْ لَنا ولإِخْوَانِنا الَّذين سَبَقُونا
O our Lord, forgive us as well as our brothers who preceded us in faith.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لأهْلِ بَقِيعِ الغَرْقَدِ "، وكقوله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لحينا وميتنا " وغير ذلك.
O Allah, forgive the inhabitants of Baqi’ al-Gharqad.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لأهْلِ بَقِيعِ الغَرْقَدِ ".
O Allah, forgive the inhabitants of Baqi’ al-Gharqad.
